He's a patriot who understands our Constitution, natural rights, economics, politics, etc :)
bait taken.

so ol' rawn understands the constitution, eh? better remind him that the 14th amendment exists. better correct his understanding of the tenth while you're at it. he has stated that the tenth amendment allows states to do "bad things", and that we need to allow this, which i agree with. but he also has stated that civil rights laws that prevent all sorts of unconstitutional things are prevented by the tenth. please remind him that racial segregation is not merely a "bad thing", but unconstitutional to boot.

you get more vague as this goes on. "natural rights"? what do you even mean buy that, exactly? please specify so that i can more accurately filet rawn on that one.

rawn understands economics? awesome. please remind him that the gold standard would be disastrous for us in times of (real) war. also, please remind him that those of us who have not benefited from 2+ decades of congressional insider trading can not afford his "my lai" approach to economics. his philosophy is best summarized by the my lai approach, "it became necessary to destroy the town in order to save it". while the wealthy can afford this approach, it would be complete and utter devastation even for people like my parents, who are by no means poor but also by no means well off. they get by, sometimes comfortably, sometimes not so comfortably.

he understands politics? is that why his "revolution" did so well? is that why he couldn't even get a speech at the convention?

a patriot sticks up for the rights of everyone. rawn has not had a track record anywhere close to this. he has categorized homosexuals as living a lifestyle which is not acceptable. he has profited off a newsletter which depicts our worst off as animals. his ideas on healthcare leave our most vulnerable at the hands of charity and churches, an idea which did not work out so well for kent snyder.

there is so much wrong with rawn pawl that it is hard to even know where to begin.

johnson has some paulryanesque fiscal policies that would hurt the most vulnerable, but he has no history of ugliness and JBS wingnuttiness like rawn does.

he might get my vote, but more than likely i will be casting my vote for the big O to piss all of you guys off.

Wouldn't piss ME off. i fully expect it.

Sometimes, collateral damage is necessary for the betterment of the predicament.

Guess i've got more research to do on "alternative candidates". BUT, if i'm not voting O or R, i might as well support my man RP right? Because it ain't going to make a cunt-hairs difference right?

if GJ gets above a certain percentage, it will certainly make a difference.

since RP's revolution failed so hard that he will not be on the ballot, whereas GJ will be on the ballot in all 50, a vote for one or the other from enough principled voters might make a difference.

only problem is that for all of rawn's internet spammy diehards, they never seem to make it out to the polls.

i saw a snipet on tv where romney said global warming is unproven still and we are waisting our money on research. this after a nasa scientist recently published a paper showing proof positive it does exist it, it is real. this past july was the hottest on record ever. i also found that in the coming decades water shortages will be common in the mid west and western states with texas and arizona being hardest hit. this big biz puppet will use our national treasures for exploitation desrtroying them in the process while touting he created a few jobs to do it. talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water...i can't see romney winning in any event. but that he can blatenly lie and distort facts is disturbing. and maybe a little frightening. another reason baby boomers are fleeing the country in droves.

I wasn't aware the Navy Seal was running for the office. Oh, you must mean Bush, whose continued policies were responsible for OBL's death. Or could you mean Obama, for simply doing what ANY sitting President would do after being handed the opportunity by his predecessor. Yay Obama, thank you for your courage to not do the unthinkable and cancel the strike team, which would murder your political career if you did. The bravery, the sacrifice, the Nobel Peace prize??

"I just don't spend that much time on it"

Had Obama given the order and the mission failed, he would have been blamed. Don't believe me? Tell me who caught the flack for Carter's failure with the Iranian hostiages.

You belittle Obama's involvement in taking out OBL but the truth is that you can't afford this man that you hate so much any respect or appreciation no matter what he does or does not do.

It grates heavily on you and yours that he was successful when Bush didn't manage to accomplish his own stated goal in the duration of his two terms.

Your voting means the difference between an unhappy electorate and a mandate. A candidate that gets a lot of votes becomes a more powerful president because he claims that mandate.

If you don't vote you are simply someone who does not believe in contributing to your own destiny. Lots of people don't, but some do.

Don't know who to vote for? Take some time, real time, and study SCPTUS rulings for the last few years - closely.

Don't let anyone else tell you the details, look at them for yourself.

If you like the rulings of Thomas, Scalia, Alito and Roberts, then vote for Romney because those are the sorts of justices he will pick - ideologs who have never seen a government action they didn't like, never seen a police action they didn't support and never saw a citizen that they thought deserved a break.

If you don't, then vote for the other guy.

Simple as that. Anyone who doesn't believe that their vote counts is a fool. Anyone who doesn't believe that the president doesn't directly affect their lives is more of one.
