Obama and Biden losing grip on reality.

The same USDA that thought it was a good idea to come out against eating meat on Monday's... Yeah, that USDA....
This is a full-on emergency, and USDA, a key agency involved in the national security issues surrounding our food and water supply, last week responded with a minor non-binding recommendation. In its inter-office newsletter to agency employees, it suggested that those who want to conserve water could simply refrain from eating meat on Mondays.
The idea is part of the worldwide “Meatless Monday” campaign, which the New York Times notes is backed by “thousands of corporate cafeterias, restaurants and schools.” In the face of a drought, it’s a pragmatic notion. Cornell University researchers estimate that “producing a pound of animal protein requires, on average, about 100 times more water than producing a pound of vegetable protein.” According to the U.S. Geological Survey, that means a typical hamburger requires a whopping 4,000 to 18,000 gallons of water to make.

I am sure the Dem's will be suggesting meat taxes next. You know... to save the planet.

I know seriously and like last month he went to the first state too allow the Compassion Act and has now for 16 years and didn't once apologize for his dishonest campaign promises nor call off the troops. Do you even know what is going on anymore? A Farm Bill laden with riches for Big Agro and more misery and debt for the Family Farmer.

So Obama goes to Iowa and claims that Paul Ryan is blocking a farm bill that Ryan already voted for and passed the house 2 weeks ago. Does he even know what the hell is going on anymore?

Now we have Biden, nothing like a little good ole fashion racism. He said I quote "They're going to put y'all back in chains!". The more they speak the worse it looks for them, they are already trying to manipulate the debate topics what else can we expect from our dynamic duo?

What is really messed up, he didnt stop there.
Biden also confused which state he was in, he called out North Carolina and he was, in fact, in Virginia.

BUT HE DIDNT STOP THERE!

He MIMICKED the Sign Language Translator, I guess he thinks making fun of sign language is a good joke.

Almost as bad as the time he told the cripple guy in the wheel chair to STAND UP.

Did you even read the first comment....

What Yahoo didn't tell you was that this was a gaffe by Obozo. The farm bill was passed 2 weeks ago by house republicans and are waiting for the democrats to pass it. If this were the other way around yahoo would have given you the whole story and put it on their front page

Never forget that ALL media is in the tank for Obama except for FOX. This hint will keep anyone from having actually to do their own research. The formula is easy:

If a news source is in disagreement with you - it is a left biased lying source
If the news source is a left biased lying source but you agree with an article contained within - THAT article is telling the truth and telling it in its entirety.
And finally, FOX is always completely accurate and very thorough.

Got it? I thought so.

But leading a blind man into a wall and laughing about his "joke" is so much more refined right?

did you hear the one about a car, a roof, and a dog...

Yeah, I keep wanting to give him a pass on that one, trying to come up with a way to make it ok to imprison a sick dog on the top of a speeding car on a long distance drive - I really do keep trying and always seem to come up short.

I just can't see putting an animal that has a name on the roof of a car on a road trip. But it is still the fact that this man led a legaly blind man Romney professed to have a liking for into a wall (closed door I believe) is a near perfect parable for what he would do to this nation.

But I could be wrong - and the fact that Republican's don't have much of a problem with this tends to ease my mind not one whit.

it's so stupid to mitigate the affects of one of the worst droughts in decades. so stupid. i'm going into indignant GOP anger mode!
And consider how "meatless Monday" will affect the revenues of the beef farmers, many who are having to haul in /pay for water to grow their beef. Less revenue > grow less beef > pay less for watering... seems like it could be a wash.... but then up goes the price of beef. Supply and demand baby. Who's idea was this?

If you want beef
Buy it in the next 3 months
because farmers cannot afford to raise them with the drought

Noun:

  1. A prolonged period of abnormally low precipitation; a shortage of water resulting from this.
  2. A prolonged absence of something specified: "he ended a five-game hitting drought".
