if you dont have a grinder. your fucking nuts. If you dont have a joint roller, you need to get one. Iv been able to roll perfect joints for a while. but they never smoked as long. The joint roller makes them way tighter than any fingers could. they smoke great, and no carpotunnel.loll, but seriously if you dont have a grinder get one of those too, you dont wanna squish your weed?!

i have an electric grinder i use most of the time. I never clean it out for about a couple months, or until i decide to make a batch of hash :leaf:

Offence will no doubt be taken but is not intended, but you sounds like you are very young and have just discovered weed. I would be a bit shocked to learn of a single person on a growing website who doesn't have a grinder. As to a joint roller, i'd be a bit shocked to find any serious smoker who would recommend using one, they are bollocks. Different weeds and hashes need to be rolled to varying degrees of tightness for them to smoke their best. Joint rollers do nothing but tight. The only way i can see them as being acceptable is that you are using a small enough amount of weed not to realise what a waste of time joint rollers are. If you can roll proficciently then you can roll as tight as you want, from side burning from looseness to barely hittable due to tightness. Rolling machines are for those who don't actually know how to roll a propper joint regardless of their personal thoughts on their rolling capability. Not knocking them for the handicaped or those who can't hold their hands too steady, parkinsons etc, but for a healthy smoker, if you find that a rolling machine is better than your hand rolled joints, then it generally always mneans you simply don't know how to roll a joint properly :)

And no, tickling your fancy would be to state that you enjoy a rolling machine, instead you are telling us that we have to get one. I'm telling you that i don't need to get one and explaining why. Most experienced smokers understand why. If you enjoy them, then excellent, can't knock someones opinion, we like what we like, but if you get to know weed and rolling different types in different ways, you will be amazed about how the tastes and experience changes, tight is good but only in certain situations. Some weeds and hashes respond a LOT better to a nice loose roll than packed in tight.

I didn't have a grinder for the first 5 years of smoking... just when you're broke you'd rather use your fingers and be able to buy another 8th as opposed to investing in a LITTLE bit of convenience.

to true, i just recently bought a joint roller, because i didnt think i needed it. But it was like .95$ so i said fuck it.
it was way worth it. But my stepdads a caregiver so iv always had a grinder to use(usualy a shitty plastic one)

When did i ever mention it making me badass? That seems to be i your head, not mine...

And this is the internet, if he did not want people to offer an opinion in support of his thoughts or opposing them, then he would not have created the thread. This is the internet. And he went and told us to go buy them, so from soneone who has used one i am offering my opinion and many others opinion on the matter. It's called feedback, it doesn't always agree with your stance. Deal with it and grow up. You are acting as if a comment counter to the OP's thoughts is some form of blasphemy or such, as i said earlier. This is the internet, if you can't handle the notion of something counter to your opinion, don't log in.

I always had to use a dollar bill / piece of paper to roll a decent J.

Never could do it very well with just my fingers.

some people just cant with their hands, if your hands are to big(some can roll blunts and not joints). its hard grasping the concept of rolling not folding. i had to watch my uncle do it like 20 times before i knew how. you just roll the weed up and down the paper, like just to get it rounded, and then try and roll it. its way easierr

Watch out man! We had a lil kickback with some local sb420 folks, and I pulled out me grinder to spliff up, and this fuckin guy gone complain that im crushing the trichs'! NOOOOOO! It still made our eyes red!!!
