Well SFGuys light looks like it put out some heat so i recon you're right in that aspect

If you have an autocloner you do not need a humidity dome.. I am not sure why, but the leaves will not droop at all and you never need to spray them. Simply place and forget about.

I think some of them do have roots, just not busting out of the plug yet. We'll see...
Just took off the lid right now, will check on them again in 10 hours or so... I'll see if anything is wilted then and report back. 6 of this 10 will be night cycle too...

2 of the 3 Honey cuts wilted. 1 of the Shultz cuts (in the back row) wilted. Other than that the rest seem to be perfectly content (also happens the wilted ones have no bright green new growth in the center of the top like the other 8 do). The cubes dried out in 10 hours as much as they normally do in several days which was exactly what I wanted to happen by removing the dome. Cubes dry out quicker, so i can root feed them again...
I gave them all a mist but didnt put the dome back on, i dont plan on it either unless the rest begin wilting.. At this point if cut in that tray hasn't begun to root i am fairly certain it isn't going to in the future and they can be a casualty. I'd rather speed up the other 8 cuts in rooting than keep the dome on for the 3 slackers.

Okay... So see above post. Everything is still the same except I have another observation to add. The Honey cuts which seem to be biting the dust (sorry honey fans) cubes are still quite moist. However the other cuts with the new growth; particularly the biggest two or 3 are almost totally dry! The rest are mostly dry, this leads me to conclude since they are drying at vastly different rates under the same conditions, perhaps the ones drying out the fastest have the best root systems. Thats my hypothesis at least.
Still no roots... But soon...

Don't forget, with a aero cloner one of the most important factors is temperature. The rez temps should be in the 70-85 range and an atmosphere temp as close to 75 as possible.

Thanks Huel, I'm glad to hear you say it tops around 85, because i am going to be in the high end of that... till it cools down here in the hot ass desert at least. A 5 gallon bucket in the room where the cloner will be around 83 -84F. Which is no where near optimal, i know it can lead to pathogen issues and more of this
However the several hundred for a res chiller is out of the question totally for this little cloner. The Ice in a bottle thing is a major PITA and i just don't wanna do it, anyone have some good alternate suggestions besides those 2?
Ambient room temps are at a nice low of 74 and high of 82 during a 24 hour snapshot right now, at about 50% humidity. But I run Co2 in bloom so temps 80 -85 are actually nearly ideal with Co2. If you cant beat the heat fully in AZ gotta work with it!
Here is where im all ears to a cheap, easy way to fix this res temp issue guys
