Most times I post my update it feels like I just posted an update. Today for some reason it feels like I have missed a week.
The photos this week suck balls. I got my new phone and it is fucking awesome. I'm loving the new OS (Ice Cream Sandwich?) but the camera isn't as good and I haven't got all the settings down either... Plus I woke early to throw my girl a morning bone so I took photos real early in a quasi dark room... But enough of my fucking excuses!
Super Haze: Stretching has slowed. She is fattening up a tab now. Oh man how I would love to replant this one and bury that fucking stem!
Bagseed #2: Bushing out nice and putting on weight, fast. Added some "spacers" to provide more light to the smaller two bud sites.

It's to early to tell, there are some dark horses in this race that are lagging behind a few front runners. Either way this going to be interesting to say the least, this competition has taught me one thing for sure "pay attention to the plant and those nutes.

how do you keep the leggy one from falling over all the time!! Its too little too late, if you were to repot it now it would do better for sure but it wouldnt be anything special, just stick with it now!
I know its too early to tell, I just wanted some conversation haha! half of us are barely starting to bud!! long way to go! except puff is probably harvesting this weekend haha.

OMG I was joking with you harvesting this weekend, I guess its almost true!! wow what a fast grow that was! She is gorgeous! even IF you dont win the light I bet you learned a few things along the way! I cant get over how fast she is maturing, 75 days from start to finish with a photoperiod including the germination process, thats fast!

Haha, thanks guys. To be honest, I've been wondering myself if I didn't get the seeds mixed up when they were being stored. Not all of them were labeled so I tried to do it by memory. Don't think I had any autos though. Anyway, I've learned so much with the party cup grow, it's been a great experience so far. I feel honored to be growing along side a great group of enthusiasts. Even though I'll finish up a lot earlier than everyone else, I'll still be around to cheer you guys on too. I have a feeling tt's going to start getting more exciting around here real soon.

Pure luck is keeping that thing from toppling over. Everyday I say "I should secure that thing" but I don't do anything. I really need to duct tape that cup to the bottom of the tent or something. As it is now, when I open the tent the movement from that has the whole thing rocking back and forth! hah!

She is beautiful. Nice fat, swollen, frosty bud! Picture #5 is my favorite! Amazing. It certainly looks like 7-10 days and you'll be good to go. The footprint of that girl is so small... Could you imagine having like 50 of them lining your entire tent? lol

haha I was gonna say the same thing but 100 instead of 50! then I erased it, now rewriting haha. You could have each cup touching each other and you just water the whole thing all at once

By the way... This is really a good example of what nugbuckets talks about as far as energy distribution goes regarding mainlining.
See how of the six cola's that the two smallest, by far, are the two coming off the lower node (white circles)? But the four "mainlined" ones, all coming off the top node, are much bigger and are relatively even, canopywise? Anyway, I thought that was cool. I can't wait to mainline for 16 colas!

Yeah, I was thinking about doing a ton of party cups and seeing what the yield would be like. It will be interesting to compare it to the 1g sour diesels I have going too.
Amaximus, I am really interested in that mainlining technique, but when I checked out that thread, I had a hard time understanding exactly where you are supposed to make the cut. Can you help out with that, maybe next time you do one post some pics of exactly what nodes you're supposed to cut at? I'd appreciate it very much as I'm sure some others would too.

From what I gathered from his growing technique he tops very early in veg stage. He pretty much left the bottom two nodes and removed evrything above that. I have read through his thread at least 3 times now and he does mimick subcool in his way of topping. I'm going to try this Mainlining with several bag seeds I just germ'd, I've been doing some of this technique with the way I LST, only letting the plant get taller and having so many branch below. Never thought of trying this when I first started growing but then I didn't know about this mainlining til a few days ago. My plan is to do a few in compost and a few in DWC, 5 gallon buckets. Just went and got me a few Smart Pots to check out how well they will help root structure also.

That is probably why you sex later (early stress), but its amazing that you had time to mainline it so much without vegging and in a party cup too!! I will have to give it a try!! I cant decide whether I should continue with the 12-12 from seed in both room, its fkin awesome to have so many different strain on the go and not having to wait 5 months after you popped the beans to enjoy it!! I could run the dehumidifier 24-7 to counter humidity problems in my basement from having so many containers. Its certainly not affecting my overall yields not to veg them, only affecting the yield per plant.
