Don't cut the rootball. This is a good question, I've often wondered this.Got a question for the weed nerds here subcool anyone chime in. Here my dilema my pots that i veg in are 2 or 3 gallon pots and the final pots are 10 gallons the problem i have is the 2 gallon pots are as deep as the 10s so when i put a 2 inside the 10 it is the same heighth meaning when i put the supersoil in the bottom of the pot and transplant the 2 gallon into the 10 theres 4 inches above dirt. So my question being this is it ok to cut the bottom of the rootball off just like the bottom 4 inches of the rootball too transplant into the 10. I transplant into the final pots and veg for another 2 weeks then flip. Is it ok to cut that bottom 4 inches of roots off and transplant. I know its gonna cause stress and slow the plant down but i have seen people who have bonsai mom do this. So any thoughts would be great nerds?
I Veg with 3.4 gallon Air Pots which are 10" wide and 11" tall but the bottoms are adjustable so I place it about 7" from the top, I figure i have a good 2 gallons of soil in for veg. I transplant to 7 gallon smarts for flower which are 11" tall so i get about 4" of SS in the bottom and 2" around the sides. Works great for me and with the Air Pots you just undo the side and open it up and drop in the Smartie, I don't even notice a glitch in growth they actually blow up when I transplant but also give them a dose of tea at the same time. I'm no expert but def would not cut the root-ballGot a question for the weed nerds here subcool anyone chime in. I will be shocked if Sub likes and uses Girl Scout Cookies, compared to his current lineup GSC is garbage. It is hype, an average strain, not that good.
For anyone that hasn't tried it walk, don't run. When you get it you will be shocked that people are attracted to such garbage. I guarantee Sub trashs this cookie garbage. I want some jillybean x cheese-----or cherno x cheese or jilly x querkle. Leave the cookies for the children.
still the real gdp crossed with querkle would be the best strain on earth. or qush back crossed to the pre98
