Why would you risk your livelyhood to grow a few plants??? If its not legal in your state, and you dont have a card, then you are asking for trouble gorilla growing...

yes it isn't legal but why would they send him a tax bill? Makes no sense at all to tax a person who is illegally growing in a state that didn't decriminalize Mj

states aren't going change laws if they don't have to, California got MMJ because so many were breaking the law

get a medical grow card and start right back up. dont let the fuzz keep ya down for to long. i got a visit from the police here in Portland before..the first time they came up, they didnt have a warrent and tried to "sly" their way in..i wasnt havin none of it and locked my door and talked to him through the window. after about a 5 min conversation with him he left with his tail in between his legs because i kno my basic civil rights and he had no warrent. about 2 weeks later they showed up again with a warrent and busted right through my back door at like 6am. after pulling me, my wife and kids out of bed at about 6:01am they looked around my house for just a little bit till i presented them with my OMMP card and grow info and their faces literaly went from all smiles...to a huge frown. they took down some info and left just as quick as they came and its been almost 2years and havnt had any probs. they didnt even go to my grow rooms and look..they didnt do nothing but brake my door frame and dent the shit out of my back door.
so if u can get legal...do it bro. its just the way to go. Good Luck dude.

Technically, it's not legal in any state but the feds don't have the manpower to do much on their own.

What good alternative then could you suggest for all the people who are stuck in states with no tolerance? Many of whom grow just for themselves for the economics of it all. What is their alternative, to buy from street dealers? Or are you suggesting abstinence for everyone in such states?

Well, I can suggest whatever I want, and that doesnt really make much difference if you take my suggestion or not.... But you could pick up and move to a legal state.... There are quite a few, and it is exactly what some of my friends did... Picked up, and moved to RI.... Now they are laughing at the though of where they were a year ago... You can grow gorrilla style, but its so easy to get caught.... There are SOOO many factors...

Police can walk right onto your property and go through your trash... unless you have a chain or gate to your property blocking it with a no tresspassing sign.... and even then, they will come onto the property (especially if your not home)... As far as trash, having a dumpster is one thing.... But dragging a few trash cans of bagged up trim and stems to the end of the driveway to be picked up by the trash guy is another... Police can go through that anytime... Or the trash guy will figure it out, and possibly rat you out, blackmail you, or rob you....

The "tax" thing is just another way for the cops to add more charges. Most states actually do have a MJ tax on the books so that if they want, they can add non payment of taxes to the charges.

I concur 100%. MY bust only strengthened my resolve in that arena. Aside from the fact that I am now left with no other viable alternative for income since my strokes.

Its a portable dumpster like 55 gal. My yard is fenced in.

Yeah technically,but the federal statute says under 99 plants,meaning it's illegal but more illegal with 100 plants and more.
Kinda like it's illegal to run red lights and do u-turns but the cops still do it even on break or even off duty.
IMO the government will get away with what ever you let them,if millions stood up to the government(not over throw)
then there is nothing the "Government" can do but hurt people and call us communist,we live in the same country who
had slave laws(pro slavery).

Basically!!! Did you know that most cops don't even have college degrees,I'd be damned if I'm treated like an animal by someone with less intelligence than me.
My cousin called the cops on his girl cause she wouldn't leave and these dumb fucks told him to leave his own house after she threw his shit out of a 3rd story
window,hell a female cop tried to arrest me for disorderly conduct cause i supposedly call some girl a bitch so she called back-up i went to jail and they wanted
me to bond out so bad,which is a trick btw to steal your money for court fees but anyway i declined and woke up with 2 extra charges resisting arrest and criminal
mischief.Long story short when i went to court i kept it real and didn't plea guilty i told the judge "If i was resisting i would have beat the shit outta that lady" in those
words,they knew it was bs so they told me to write a fake apology letter to the lady cop who btw got fired after i wrote the complaint with 2 witnesses sigs.
I forgot to add she arrested my friend too for trying to explain what happened.I got a lot of cop stories but im sure you get it.

I was tought by an experienced grower when I was learning the growing ropes, that you never go straight home after large purchases from grow shops. Always do that first, then run a bunch of errands after. Kill some time. Bring the supplies home later when it's cool. I thought this advice was bologna but I've been seeing more and more of these stories here.

Why should it matter if you go straight home or not? Once they have your license plate they don't need anything else. They can wait weeks while they check your background and hunt you down. So your first thought was correct, the advice is bologna.
