Day 60 (SEMI AUTO ultra lemon haze - now on 12/12 lights for the last 3 weeks or so because they were taking too long to change to flowering)
NOTES:
- Fed a lil taster of PK13/14 the other day with teh dutch pro autoflower bloom A+B and no nute burn so far so they seem to be able to take it
- Had a heat issue when i went up to 500w on tuesday, i went out for half the day and when i got back i had some crispy leaves and the hairs at the very top of the tall ULH had died and kinda shrivelled up
- I have made a DIY air cooled aspect to my reflector hood. I basically slapped an inline fan upside down on one of the vents and now the ambient temps ar around 21-22oC so its working amazingly and i still get to use both my 250w cfl's so my topped plant is getting the good life too now
getting very fragrant. Started with a musky lemon smell but the thc is starting to turn more towards grapefruit now. I think ive only been in flower 3 weeks now, so they doin well. I remember last time i grew the ULH the buds stayed small till the last 2.5-3 weeks when they went crazy
The big ULH, the top bud has some heat damage but i think she is on the way to recovery with some new white hairs coming through. The middle photo is of the main stem...it is two stems that have fused because the plant bent over to the light and the two stems were in contact with each other for so long (i guess) either way its turn the 'top bud' into a mutant beast
The smaller of the ULH, she has such plump buds, they look so appetizing i wanna eat them :/ still very young, so im looking forward to the next 5 weeks
The topped girl, loads of budsites, around 15 or so on the top, not sure how much bigger they will get but we shall see :/ they dont look like they are gonna get as impressive as the other two so far
My 'new' air cooled reflector LOL. The last pic shows the cupboard space above the reflector that the warm air is being blown into, and the carbon filter can take that straight out too, so its helped temp down below soooooo much, no more heat stress!
rockin both 250's and temps just below the canopy at 22.4oC
Thanks for following!
Oh by the way, ive heard not to use superthrive during flower, but noone has actually tested it out who says that, so its got a kind of myth to it. It supposedly lengthens the time to flower but alot of people say its a load of bullshit. I think im gonna give 1ml per gallon on next feed to see if it helps recover from the earlier heat stress even better
