And I am not trying to attack you personally here.Yeah, see, we have different viewpoints on this. i am TIGHT with my old boss. He's babysat my son. i'm attending his wedding Saturday. He attended my second wedding. i'm working for him tomorrow (start in 6 1/2 hours). While the percentage of MY paycheck that goes to UI is insignificant, HIS contributions were VERY substantial. And he, as a sensible owner would do, figured that into my pay. Had he not paid so much i would've received it in compensation. i guarantee that. i wouldn't have gotten the same amount he would've saved, he's gonna take his cut as he should. But i would've been cash up.
So, you're numbers do not accurately reflect what i contributed to my UI imo.
What I am saying is the more people that take 2-3 years unemployment, disability, etc the greater the burden of the remaining taxpayers.
I am working sweat shop hours starting and running my businesses and the government is going to help me by making me pay somewhere between 6 & 10K this year in taxes and I listen to people like Carabeeiner say that he is on disability cause he doesnt want to work sweat shop hours.
And then Padwan wants to jump up and call me a coward for saying WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE!
Again, if we dont change our attitudes and spending there will be no safety net for anyone because our financial system is going to crash. We have the treasury printing money which devalues the dollar to hand it to the fed to buy worthless paper from the banks to make the economy look peachy keen when it is totally fucked up.
