Thanks Canndo, I was thinking of starting some "grow bags," or something of the sorts with a mix of Brown Rice Flour, Vermiculite, Gypsum, and Multi Grain Flour.
The jars are coming along great now. I can't believe how far they've gotten in the last 2 days.
There was 1 dud, so I have 4 jars, but they are all about 90% colonized (small areas on the sides aren't covered in mycelium yet, and the bottom of jars have yet to show mycelium except small specks.
Except one of them that's at I'd say roughly 85% which still isn't bad in my opinion for it being my first shot at growing fungi, and everything's been going perfect. I'm getting anxious waiting with them being this close to being able to birth them. Oh the waiting game..
I think I have it all down now, and am good to go by myself from here on. Just one last question I have as I've looked around have found no answer.
Do you
have to "dunk, and roll" or can I just put them in a fruiting chamber straight out of the jars?
Also should I wait a few days after what I believe is full colonization to ensure consolidation?
