I say some shit like "didn't we just do this?? " he looks at his evil notebook and says it's been a year, I bitch and moan some more and tell him how much I dislike this, he says " well, truthfully, its not that much fun for me either" and I'm like : I get great comfort from that doc. then I assume the position.

there's actually a process (that you have your girlfriend, or boyfriend do if you swing like that :/ ), it's called milking the prostate , never experienced it but the same technique is used by doc to check him all out. wtf he can tell by feeling it with his finger is beyond me but he seems to know wtf he's doing.
