I used it as a basic example to explain my point that the test rocket fired by North Korea didn't have a nuke in it, and wasn't their best attempt at getting a nuke to the USA...

My example was that if they were to have a nuclear warhead that failed as it did, it would have detonated over them... I clearly state in that thread that it takes a catalytic reaction to trigger the detonation.

Furthermore, Harrekin couldn't even explain the basic concept of why the bomb is detonated above the target... I mean, if you can't even comprehend the premise of a blast radius, you have no business discussing the operation of a nuke lol

from what i know about you, i was going to say his claim sounded hard to believe.

Back on topic though, as an independent, I'd like to say these last 2 debates didn't serve Romney well. He did better in debate 2 than 3 imo, however I felt better about him after debate 1, than I do now.

Back on topic though, as an independent, I'd like to say these last 2 debates didn't serve Romney well. He did better in debate 2 than 3 imo, however I felt better about him after debate 1, than I do now.

the second debate is not that old and not really showing up in the polls just yet i think, but the second debate didn't do what it needed to do for obama. this one might reinforce that result though and get the polls going into unquestionable obama win territory again, but that is doubtful considering the lack of bounce from debate 2.

it will be interesting to see more and more polls come out in the next few days and see how the map changes again.

And to be clear, my example is valid, because the first atomic bomb ever detonated was detonated at ground level as a test.

harrekin: although fb360 is clearly way too proud of himself, he is winning the science end of this debate. he is probably not building warheads for the DoD, but from what i recall he is competing for a contract with them, likely as part of a team of engineers. he went to the same college i did, but likely graduated and got a good enough job to buy a post-foreclosure crisis AZ home on the ultra cheap and is very proud of that, along with his car. neither you or i could competently debate the science of nuclear or atomic bombs as well as he likely can, so he has you on that part.
