Aside from damage and electricity, I don't think so, but I am open to the idea.Do you think something other than chemical influence has the ability to alter a persons mind?
Have you heard the stories of people who suffer head trauma and then suddenly find they have same sex attraction? This would seem to counter the idea that damaged brain = damaged mind. The damage in this case seems to have expanded the mind sexually. However neurologists believe that the damage must have been to the part of the brain which controls inhibition, which is consistent with the brain/mind coin. We are taking away inhibitions rather than expanding sexuality. This is evidenced by instances of the people acting less inhibited in other areas as well.
I apologize for not being able to cite a source, it's a conversation I heard on a podcast.
