The former. cnIs it a unicorn or an unicorn?
Because sane minds can sometimes be scared minds too.how can a sane mind possibly believe in a god ?
You might be interested to know that my experience has been vaguely the reverse. Stripping life of the duty to have meaning is something I have perceived as liberating. That's just me though. cnGod isn't about probability it's about existence and it's inevitability. Unicorns exist within god just not in the reality of most humans. The guy above me speaks of fear and your response is based solely upon fear since you have convinced yourself that there isn't any meaning to life (which there isn't in most aspects). What could be scarier then that?
Yes but you must understand that you are the only one who can give it meaning. We must look at life by examining all life collectively. We cannot group all life together and give it a universal meaning therefore it is meaningless to all but the observer (if you choose to believe it has no meaning, that is your choice but it is not resonant to anyone but yourself). To what extent has this liberated you? I believe it to be liberating only in the sense that you have chosen to ignore everything except the illusion that is in front of you. To me that is not liberating, it's counterproductive and blocks you from spiritual progression. Thoughts and beliefs directly shape your reality and nothing in life will influence it more then these things. You might be interested to know that my experience has been vaguely the reverse. For myself this knowledge is liberating because I can choose my own meaning. I choose to pursue whatever makes me the happiest and when doing that I cannot lose. You have no real niche in terms of your supposed liberation. don't we all live life to strive to do what we love? To me it sounds like you're implying that we cannot do this unless we believe that our existence has only once meaning; being a lack of one. If that is your choice you have the right to do that and I'm sure you'll learn from this, be it in this lifetime or the next, on this side or the other.
