New breeder "Sickmeds" ceids has a selfed feminized version of this clone-only strain out now at a reasonable price point.

Its literally only been out for a month or so, but I'd expect some grow/smoke reports in the next 3 months.

Yeah, I saw those seeds. The pics on Cannazon look different from the Green Crack I have come to know. I'm anxious to see some grow reports.

Since "Green crack" is itself supposed to be an F1 hybrid of Skunk #1 and some strong indica, I think you'd expect to see quite a few different phenos in this sort of S1 se-ed.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you'll see some grow reports over the coming months.

I see. That makes sense.

I was under the impression that green crack was a sativa dominant strain?

I picked up a GC clone a week or so ago. I'll let you know how it turns out in a few months..

Since when is Skunk #1 x unknown Indica = a Sativa strain? There is no "SoCal cut". There's only one real cut, aka Cush from Athens Georgia. Anything else is an imposter.
From what I understand... CecilC made the simple cross in Athens, Ohio... then it was sent to Georgia (but not Athens) where it was still called Cush... then it was spread around. It picked up the name "Dream Queen" in California dispensaries. Green Crack didn't sound like medicine and Cush was too easily confused with Kush. Some people say Snoop Dogg named it Green Crack in LA...? who knows.

It was Athens, Ohio... not Athens, GA. So that story goes...
I'm not claiming to hold the solid story... that's just the story I have come to know.

It does have fairly Sativa looking leaves and effect.
As far as flower time and bud structure it is very indica like.
It's a great hybrid. It gets you giddy like a Sativa... very social... but it produces buckets of dense buds in 8 weeks. The body high comes through when you smoke a lot. Many people say it is very hard to function when you hit it hard. Just a couple hits is very motivating.

I have a Dream queen cut I have been running for about a year now. I however am discontinuing the strain as I feel I have found better. But still a nice strain with great smell and everyone raves about the High it produces. 100_0619.jpg100_0647.jpg100_0648.jpg

As mentioned, GC is supposed to be half Skunk #1 and half indica.

Skunk #1 is 75% sativa, so that would make this one roughly 2/3 indica, 1/3 sativa *by genetics*.

The fast finish, bud density, and overall plant structure are indica-like, but the high, leaf shape, and flavor are a bit more sativa-like. In any case, I question the utility of trying to assign percentages of questionable real-world meaning to hybrids like this, especially when the real genetic lineage isn't known with certainty.

What is "Cush"?

Never mind. I see it is Green Crack. Just never heard it called that...
"Cush" is the original name, though it goes by numerous others (green cush, green crush, green candy, dream queen, etc).

Dispensaries typically don't like the name "green crack" because even though tongue-in-cheek, the reference to "ghetto" rock cocaine doesn't convey a particularly "medical" image in a business that has enough PR problems as it is.

Im in Oakland, GC has been around here for a while.I grew it for a couple years. It looked liked that..kinda thin sativa leaves but not really tall.. super branchy. Had a nice smell, kind of a tangy rotten fruit odor. There is a guy named GrowerMD on youtube that has a bunch of grow journals with it.

The branching is perfect... No need to do anything but a little lollipopping and stake up the heavy buds that inevitably bring the side branches down.
The branches spread just right and fill out the canopy perfectly. The light penetrates through very well.
From a growing standpoint... I cannot say enough good things about this plant. Smoke wise as well, it is no slouch.

The only thing I didnt like about growing Green Crack was that at the end of 8 weeks, some of the top buds would get these little immature seed pod looking things. I dont remember banana herm sacs or anything, and I know I didnt have light leaks because I checked. Some of the calyxes would just bug out with some weirdness

Crazy. I think I know what you are talking about actually... I can't remember which plant I saw it on, but I have had that same thing... it might have been the green crack.
I remember breaking them open and not able to tell if they were really immature seeds or what. I'll look closer in a few weeks.

I have seen one other plant in person that was very similar to mine, but a little different. Effect wise though, it was the exact same.
This other plant smelt waaay stronger than mine. A sweet candy like smell. Mine smells more rotten fruit like.
Also, the other plant produced lots and lots of little buds that came to a nice point at the top of the bud... Mine produces big buds, not so pointed at the top. However, the actual calyx looked much the same.

Most of the bags I have picked up, not knowing the grower, have been many little dense buds. Same high though.

After a little experimenting, over 4 GC grows, I have found that both topping and LST hold GC back, quite a bit... The plant branches so well on its own... Lst and topping just cut down the bud sites and yield. The main cola is pretty and all... but the real yield comes from all those side branches that sit about 4 to 5 inches below the cola and just fill every inch of canopy.

Did you ever try it without LST or topping? If not... try it once before you throw it out. Give it no less than 3 gallons of grow media, veg to 12-14 inches, 4 plants per square meter, and lollipop up until the end of week 3.

Green crack is not the Cush cut from Athens, actually the cross was done in Atlanta, then friends moved to Athens .my friend made the cross and its very creamy hash flavor that never ends and u can smell it all the way to the street.gc is not Cush, that said I'd say 50%of strains are what they're told.i just happen to know a lot about this cross
