2/13 of my seeds germinated and both of them have yellow leaves and 1 has a clear/white stem can anyone tell me how to fix this?
I put a seed into the ground once, and an oz popped out the next day. To this day I still cant figure out what happenedHe is talking about the cotyledons being yellow which is completely normal....also....clear stem....the thing is only like 3 days old what do you expect....to pop out of the ground with a flower on it and green as can be with a 1 inch stem?
And thats why They need light to produce chlorophyllOOOO thnx i didnt know it was supposed b tht way i thought there was something wrong because for the first 12c hours they didnt have any light
Also keep in mind plants don't use light until their first pair of true leaves. The cotyledons do not use photosynthesis, They are formed in the seed with all the energy they need in them to keep the plant alive until it produces it's first pair of photosensitive leaves.OOOO thnx i didnt know it was supposed b tht way i thought there was something wrong because for the first 12c hours they didnt have any light
