More info.

Example..... 2 herijuanna f1 s bang ..... 95% of the children repulse you..... Some in f2 form are worthless.... not all bloodlines can be harnessed the same...

Example.... originals can not be obtained... deal with it.... get as close as you can... I am short ... He is tall...we are brothers. He taste like fuel.... I taste like grass... we are family... we will both pass black hair and brown eyes to the next...

Example .... 1 vortex from breeder packaged seed taste like grape...1 did not....were they both vortex....yes.....and no... depends

The rabbit hole of breeding. I suggest your set you feet in concrete and only be drawn to the laws of nature and no so much mans.

I have an ice plant that I know has the genetics of a shiva skunk way back. it's the sweet skunk sometimes I hear it called amsterdam skunk because it's not like an actual skunk. at any rate I can smell and taste the shiva skunk from my ice plant in alot of sub cools products. I recognized the flavor and smell and then found a site that does the full lineage breakdown and there it was shiva skunk. I think I have a nose for this shit in that I found that smell on my own and tracked down the pheno thru lineage. I kept of the 20 ice seeds I had the 1 pheno with that smell strongest in it because I really liked it even though it wasn't the #1 yeilder and actually not much like the ice description at all. I can do this, book is on its way. I'm hyped to do something with breeding but I do everything I do as right as I can so I wait. With the 1:1 THC/CBD acid plant I have and what I think is a somewhat rare pheon of ice I think I'm getting some genes to work with as far as females.

All I am stating is that without knowing (by first hand experience) what a "haze" (or any strain) that it is silly to say you found a "haze" pheno. There in there. I'm sure I've spotted some old phenos popping up in new strains. I had a few really weird ones pop up when breeding a Mental Floss and Reefermans Sour Deisel. I can see from books there was a bit of a "Thai" expression happening. Does that mean I found a "thai" pheno. I don't know. That is all I am saying. Not trying to argue just trying to keep things straight. Only until you know your strains and there parents inside and out should you name phenos after pre existing strains.

Cory how long have you been growing? I see 2 grow journal links? This says nothing. Example ... you will find no grow journal under my name yet I can hardly remember the 1st few...

I know there is no reason to sound or even argue... The eye was pointed out for him in the beginning... THE EYE is what you are talking about and yet I am not trying to argue either...

hic; I have been growing seriously for 10-12 years, and a few sad tries before that. medically and legally-2 going on 3. I shunned bought seeds and clones for random bag seed for the first 6 or 7 years but I have seen the light. it was the single biggest jump in my quality ever when I bought seeds. was planting my garden, buying tomato seeds thinking....I look thru all these to find the best ones I don't go get a good tomato and plant the seeds from that.....lightening bolt; 5X better pot instantly. now I wanna take credit for good shit and I can't cuz I think the breeder is only one who can really take credit for the great stuff I am turning out now. I wanna be THAT GUY!

I would say--
wen you get a pheno type that you really like and you want to make it your pet...

try and make it better and you too could be the next big thing since sliced bread--(sour diesel)

i think there are something like 22turpenes that give it the smell and taste(flavr)

that means there are endless variations-
many possibilities

it is a very long and diligent process to make it happen at times--

when you find that certain pheno in your pkg of hybrid seeds----and it is close or has the genetics of what you are after--smell taste-etc haze -Thai- kush whatever- grape lavender purply--sourly gassy diesely--skunky--sweet fruity whatever you prefer and your friends...I mean patients enjoy...

remember there are only so many indigenous land race strains---unique to the geography
usually the plant has characteristics of indigenous plants...I.e. a Thai plant looks like bamboo.....a kush plant is short and hearty like all the other indigenous plants in the region sativas grow best in the hottest climates---Africa! Indicas in colder regions-

california is in between....hot days ..cold nights...hence crosses to improve the plant to the climate

california now after been at the forefront as far as seniority.....has strains there they have been growing 25-50 years!
thats how long they been hidin out smokin in them mtns and forests...

there are 5-6th generation growers there with genetics from the 50s!! ---yeah there are old guys out there that have been doing it along time!....that's why they all live there-

thats why I believe you see such great crosses that come out of there---
and the hollandish and Swedish and Norwegian growers and breeders rush there to get new genetics to put into their crosses--if you view a lot of Dutch banks and such a lot of their genetics have some Cali crosses in the mix---and some don't

colorado is now leading with hybrids!

Cool cory! You sure are off to a better start being you have worked with the plant more times then 2.

I have read some where the upcoming breeder was not yet sure how to top but was set out to change everything right now. I was just curious.

I've had my top 3 for 3 years and I just started qrazy train (tried chernobyl but got 2 males) and fat purple. but mostly I cycle between my top 3 and toss in some here and there to try and find a new hot one. Its the male and the how that I need my work on.

I picked up a grow tent just for this purpose. Secret Jardin brand is sweet. an area to keep the male plants away from the ladies.

You really must process first the laws of nature... That is what you need to do. Look at your world. While your seeds sprout.

I assure you if you wish to be the best you will not be able to be the jack of all laws.... I think that if I ever wanted to be the best in a world of opinion in the way of seed making I would attempt to be master knowledge of the laws.

Much like a Compasion Club I cant even run or own one without having a lawyer.... So what do I do? I say fuck it aint worth all that shit to me.... You too in terms of the laws and breeding if the genetic laws and laws of nature are too much to invest in I would not invest in dreams.

If you are already happy with what you have gatherd we can proceed.... and if you wish to proceed you should already know the laws....

Here we can make it quick... Male Selection? = Your Eye + Your Knowledge + The Laws. There is your male selection lets move on.

Na I have only read one marijuana book by mel frank well over a decade ago. I have read a few articles. I do not agree with DJ short about tripping to sample dope. Sounds like he has tripped too much. I do not give a shit about what dj has to say I do however find it usefull that I can gather his hard work for a fee. Would only pay attention to his attributes not beliefs.
