To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I understand the quote completely.

"science without religion is lame" - from what I'm getting, it seems to mean scientific application without ingenuity is somewhat moot, as science can't create ideas, only test them.

"religion without science is blind" - I already agree with

Imo the journey from religion to faith to gaining confidence covered a lot of terrain. The starting point is below a few horizons. Thus my invocation of evocation. cn

I voted faith. I said faith because my faith, really is just an amazing tool to dissect and enjoy reality for what it really is, and because of my faith I now see reality in a more clear state. So even though I am really focusing on reality, it is because of my faith that I do this, and without having found my faith, I would still be in an oblivious shell.

I found the dichotomy a bit arrogant as well. As a committed subjectivist, I have real faith that there isn't one without the other. cn

...you're leaving positive footprints here, man It's interesting when you think about the personality (man's current view of reality) and how it doesn't last. Every single second that passes by makes for a new image of reality. However, the personality that experiences it is temporal, it is what dies. The essence will always be there, imo.
