Now,it's about time ,you'd better rise up the panels a bit...
Good work brother...
132-135 Watts...
Nice...
Ooopss..
Wait a sec...
There is only two panels ,there ?
...
Interesting...
Rise them & take 'em apart ,a bit ,to increase coverage...
Let's see...

(Σηκωσέ τα λίγο ..-Δώσε λίγο απόσταση μεταξύ τους..)

Those panels seem to be working great ganja, congrats!

I'd be looking to build my own, would you be able to provide an exact parts list? I've read this full thread from front to back but in the course I can't recall half of the specifics of your setup lol

All part information and specifics would be really helpful to probably a lot more than just me. LEDs are the only way forward.

After one month of waiting and struggling i finally got together all the items needed for 2 x 24w panels...

Unfortunately there is some kind of power problem with the drivers and i cant light them all together...(so im sticking with batteries :P )

Lets hope to fix it and grow some Ledious-Marvelous-Weedious soon...

And now some R630 and UV420 explosion...i got dazzled for about 5mins the first time i saw this kind of light...(now i wear 8)8)8) )

check your solderpoint (marked yellow) they look weak.

Hey thanks, i will as soon as i can...(but how can you tell ? )

To be honest i dont think this is the problem...

My warm whites ( black leds on pcb), have their polarity inverted...dont know why, this is how they are...maybe this is why...

But when i turn it on, all the leds are lighting up a lil bit...like the power is not enought or smthing...

...(but how can you tell ? )

only one part of my Job/work

judged from a bad pic, so

search google for pics over "cold solder points" ...maybe i´m right?...

from wikipe...
In general a good looking soldered joint is a good joint. As mentioned it should be smooth, bright and shiny. If the joint has lumps or balls of otherwise shiny solder the metal has not 'wetted' properly. Not being bright and shiny suggests a weak 'dry' joint.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldering

i see , and how can i fix that ? with just re-melting or adding new material ? or it needs to be cleaned and do it all over again ?

try to reheat this points. when the solder goes the right way your done, if not a little bit fresh solder maybe help.

clean up this mess and do it all over again will be the second step

.

Get yourself a multimiter if you haven't already! You'd want to set that on test mode and run over all the joints. Google this and you can watch some videos or instructions! When you run into problems a multimiter is mandatory to do not loose your brain over it!

greetings to the thread actually +rep for stardust!

I have been lurking for the last couple of weeks.

I noticed that you mentioned Knna a few times, but let me play the devil advocate here:

You said that knna has always advised against more than a few 660nm reds

That is not correct, knna used to say that too much or only 660nm reds are not well tolerated by some plants (flowering). His last a

advices were towards a 50/50 red/hyper red ratio. He also used to say that for vegging, all 660nm (no 620/30) coupled

with Royal blue do the job just fine. He always advised on using a few whites, but that was not that important as for flowering.

You also state that knna advised to the direction of employing only whites. Well yes, he was once questioned that, he said maybe

one day that would be possible given the advancement of white leds technology in terms of watts burned/costs per diode. He said

"maybe" anyway.

So that means you don't state accurate facts about knna, but that's ok. That also means that whatever you are discovering with your

experiments is only thanking to your personal choices and researches and no one else!

So well done, keep going and best of luck, I'll be following

I would be flushing with H2O2 (~3%) for a couple 3 days. No I wouldn't cause I don't smoke tobacco

but isn't that virus affects plants, through the leaves? what do we earn by flushing the roots? can you explain it please? i was thinking some foliar treatment.
