Hey Nerds, i wanna start this by saying i'm not trying to change the way anyone says anything. So, you guys can do with this info what you want, it just kind of interested me and i thought i would share. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who's from India and her 1st language is Hindi. I was asking her if she had ever been to or seen the Hindu Kush mountains to find out a little about the climate. She told me she had been there many times and that (this is the part) i was pronouncing Kush wrong. She said that she had heard Americans pronouncing it to sound like "push" but that Kush is actually pronounced to sound like "hutch". Kind of like Hindu Kutch. Not that any of this really matters, in America, we do things the way we want, but i just thought i would share this. It sounds kind of funny, Blackberry Kutch or Bubba Kutch, so whatever, lol. She also told me that the word Kush also means "killer". The Hindu Kush Mountains are named that because they are so dangerous. Hindu Kush means "Killer of Hindus". Anyway guys, thats just some of the useless knowledge my head is stuffed with.
If you get the chance, get out and support the School of Dank and Autism this weekend! If its across the country for you, like me, hopefully Jinxproof will make a DVD we can buy to support it! It sounds like this year will be awesome!
