Now THAT, is a possibility imo.naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I am thinking civil war
Sounds like some fear-mongering bullshit false-flag our government would come up with imo.How about a nuclear civil war, just to keep it civil.
That is exactly what I think of the title of the thread actually.Sounds like some fear-mongering bullshit false-flag our government would come up with imo.
I agree that our nation is divided on many issues. I do posit however that a careful reader of history will see that it has always been thus. I simply don't see a degree of civil unrest or disgruntlement that might credibly lead to civil war. I remember how the Occupy protests melted away to nothing. Now THAT, is a possibility imo.
Our nation is divided on many issues. Which one will be the lightning rod?
Thank you McRancid! Glad to see the holiday finds you in cheerful spirits! What an intelligent answer. Your great-grandchildren will however, be subjected to execution because they are not in line with Islam.
i agree we have always been divided but i also feel that several of your scenarios are real possibilities if not probabilities.I agree that our nation is divided on many issues. I would be more worried about civil war in the instance of serious trouble. These aren't predictions but situations I consider possible: an economic collapse once the fiscal house of cards delaying admission of inflation blows up ... a loss of arable and inhabited terrain if global climate change is as serious as some say ... and the possibility of our being drawn into an international conflict of size and severity. The current maybes for such a scenario are China and Iran, but that is very much a "moving target". Random musings here. cn
Mexico has universal healthcare.I don't want civil war, but I also don't want degenerates running this country. Let's face it, this young generation in their 20's will take this country to the depths of hell in one decade and we will ALL look like fucking citizens of Juárez, Mexico
i agree, i don't want war, there ain't nothing "civil" about it. If one thinks otherwise, hope they don't meet me in a battle situation.I don't want civil war, but I also don't want degenerates running this country. LOl Bergmate, hahahahaI'm sure he passed the sample. And shame? moi? I'll allow my delicious bergmate to handle that one. cn
I speak common sense. And for the record, I never have claimed a religious identity. Funny that you immediately thought I was someone I am actually not.Thank you McRancid! Glad to see the holiday finds you in cheerful spirits! And how do you know me and my future-grandkids aren't muslims? I'm coming for your Bibles and your women. Soon.
i don't need no fucking universal healthcare. How 'bout i'm allowed to purchase 5-10 acres and do the fuck as i please without interference and not harming another?Mexico has universal healthcare.
Juarez would be a lot safer if America ended the drug war. I feel safer here than I did in the US.
Buy land, I hear they aren't making it anymore.i don't need no fucking universal healthcare. How 'bout i'm allowed to purchase 5-10 acres and do the fuck as i please without interference and not harming another?
I will say this: that sentiment is as old as the nation, and older in other places. So far, however, as each generation has grown into the reins, it has risen to the challenge of governance. The real trick (imo!) is discerning between the usual ferment of change (with its rough treatment of tradition) and actual decadence. Trouble is, much as i want to be an optimist ... or at least avoid descending into cynicism ... I do see signs of real serious decadence in the developed world. I do hope I am wrong. I fear that I am not. cnI don't want civil war, but I also don't want degenerates running this country.
