As silly as it is, Obama will be blamed for tides rising. He shouldn't be, everyone should agree he shouldn't be, but he did have that little unfortunate moment where he claimed his election would mean the tides stop rising. It's like when a dem cheats on his wife we yawn, but when a family values guy does it, it's huge news.

What on earth would possess a man to be so arrogant as to think his election means the oceans stop rising? And to actually say it out loud...
If Christie gets elected, he can make such a claim ... and guarantee it by promising to go on no more seaside vacations. cn

Obama didn't cause the price of fuel to go up - and those who claimed he did don't know much about politics, as he seems to have caused the price to rise just before his election. And he didn't cause it to go back down now.

To those who scoff at the notion that gas companies raised their prices in order to keep Obama from winning. We did see many TVcons and radiocons listing the price of fuel with unemployment numbers and the national debt as indication of how lousy the Obama presidency was. We know that gas companies gmed the system when it came to extorting energy money from ratepayers in California in 2000. That was not an idle conspiracy theory, it was a proven fact, lead by El Passo Gas, and prompted by Enron so it shouldn't be that hard to imagine that energy companies didn't manage to artificualy raise the price of fuel nationwide to attempt to rebalance the playing field in the presidential race.

Yes, our great Dept. of Energy doesn't have the foresight to see that if 4 of 5 Energy producers decide to buy new tires at the same time, the American consumer gets raped.
They should be run out on a rail for creating such instability in our economy and not coordinating a regular maintenance schedule.

So you think Obama is responsible for falling gas prices? Specifically which policy of his did it?
Here in California it's not because of Obama. Prices are dropping much slower because we're the only idiots who believed the winter and summer blend hype. Also, we're the only state which only allows in state refined gas.

Messiah Jerry Brown came to our rescue and allowed us to use any blend but still no out of state gas.

People bitch about made in China was silly of Romney. Look at what made in California has done for us.

While I agree with the sentiment - many of those shots of hoooorible pollution - are steam.
What kind of enviro-Nazi are you? How can you claim global warming, but deny thermo-pollution? That nice shit I did, in the toilet, had to have raised global temperatures several degrees alone, with the amount of methane( being I'm a vegan and converted the CO2 myself), rather than letting the cow apply for the carbon tax.

I am the kind who believes that misrepresenting the way things are is a poor way of dealing with... the way things are. If that makes me an enviro-nazi, then I'm all for it.

I agree with this sentiment. It could lead to something idiotic like carbon credits or a terrible health care bill.

Ok I was hasty in posting, Although when you see steam it could be from a APC "Scrubber", knocking particulates out of the exhaust. Not 100% steam.

I have said my piece on carbon credits - I made enough money off of them and now I don't care if they get shunted aside. I don't know how well CCX is operating now. A terrible health care law was not the result of misrepresentation on the left gin, but on the right. Had they acknowleged that there was a problem and that it was fixable, we might have had a much better one.

Obama takes no responsibility for anything — including a 100 percent rise in gasoline prices since taking office as our 44th president. He would like us to believe that U.S. oil production under his watch is at an all-time high

He would like us to believe that it is higher than it was in the Bush years. - which it currently happens to be. It is so high in fact that our primary export is gasoline.
