If some "nutzoid" teacher wants to kill 20 people, regardless if the school is a gun free zone, regardless of other teachers having weapons, regardless of even having second amendment rights, the "nutzoid" teacher will find a way to kill.

More then likely the US created it in a lab and spread it around africa for research purposes, just like they spread all those STD's in cambodia or some place similar back in the 50's or 40's post ww2

no , you are wrong there too bud. If you go back and look at the purpose or cause to spark the inception of guns, they were made to PROTECT. Albeit, this protection results in deaths

Well, I'm all for gun rights. I wrote a 10 page term paper in college about guns, gun laws, and the propaganda behind the issue. The most profound evidence I found was that stricter gun laws don't make a dent in gun violence. With that being said, there is so much propaganda from republicans and from the right, telling us that ever person that isn't a republican is "trying to take our guns" it's ridiculous. Another bit of propaganda is the book, I forgot who wrote it, It basically says gun laws create more violence. The entire book is nothing but bullshit statistics, and I mean total bullshit. The author forgot to mention that the states with the most relaxed gun policies like the southern states have the most gun violence. He also failed to mention in his "statistics" that Gun violence has been on a decline since the early 90's almost everywhere, but used that statistic to show how pro gun legislation that passed around 2000, decreased gun violence. Bullshit, it declined way before they passed

Please tell us why you must cuddle these weapons so dearly that you are fine with little children being killed as long as it doesn't hurt your ability to leave your house without shitting your pants by having a hand cannon for protection.

because the police's job is to catch criminals, not to keep the peace. We cannot and should not rely on them for that. cn

You see there is a problem with your argument. There is a psychology behind shooting down innocent people. Simply to kill people is an all too simple objective for a profound mental illness. So it seems reasonable for us that "the(teacher) will find a way to kill", but in the mind of a mass murderer its about the means not the ends. We tend to think he (murderer) is trying an "effective" way to kill people, however it is the only way their sick minds find a solution.

I am curious about where you live canna. So many people from the US here claiming to own guns to protect themselves from robberies(the worst kind of berry) and such.
It puzzles because the US is pretty safe compared to the rest of the world. Imagine people in Chile, Brazil, South Africa, Paraguay, Venezuela where they'll stab you for your shoes but people know guns are not the answer.

I live near the geographic center of California, so deep in "Northern California" the odd way the state is partitioned. Locally funding for police is the last to get affected, and it has been hit. So you can imagine that the other social niceties, like good roads and decent schools, are memories really.
Police response times are minutes at best, and hours at worst.

When you say "people know guns are not the answer", I am not sure what you mean. It sounds a mite prejudicial to me. cn
