Oh shiiiiiiiiit this thread is epic
These are what we call "timeless toys" for the most part... things that would be fun even now. I love that. I mean I'm looking at this spirograph box and the tinker toys container and I can't help but think how they look like they're from the 60's... but I had both in the 90's! Timeless i tell you. Now i need to go find a place to buy tinker toys... I hope they still exist...
Edit: Aww, I found some but they're plastic. Fuck that, gimme that wood.
Edit again: HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THAT PRICE http://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-54809-Tinkertoy-Classic-Jumbo/dp/B00004TFRN/ref=pd_sim_t_2

pogs. they made a comeback in hawaii about 15-20 yrs ago. the fad died down though
not sure what they're called in the mainland, but we call em pogs here. they're milkcaps. one side has a picture and the other side is ussually blank. you stack em up and try to whack the stack with another pog. whatever you flip, you keep. simple game, lol. we had shops pop up just specializing in pogs, lol. people would collect them here just like they were baseball cards. oh by the way, pogs is just short for passion orange guava. I guess they came in bottles and had caps on them tooI was wondering what those were...
