had this thought, a person is only allowed 2,000 in assets, car, comp, cash, gold, silver. not seperate combined. i had a computer worth 2100. got rid of it(stupidest thing i ever did) well i had a conscience for the gov, so i spent my back pay to make sure i didnt have anything to secure me into anything over 2,000. but the more i think about it the more i realize i should have lied when asked questions or before hand so i could make sure the cash they gave me had me with a house and a car over 2,000. but what is your belief on letting the government know all? i am looking to get a job like i do every year. but this time i want to make it last and make well above 2,000 in cash, gold, silver. i figure i buy most of my gold and silver from this coin dealer in town at the time when its right and i could just barry the gold under the bush in my yard and could say i have no assets over 2,000. what are your thoughts on keeping the government on a big leash as to my finances for ssi/ssdi?
