well the firs cross would more than likely be a 50/50 mix of genes, but usually the seed bearer passes on the majority of traits, plus there is the off chance for other genes to show, so there is no guarantee that it will come out shitty like the hermi. but its chances of that are higher. if you where to continue on to the F2 generation you would see distinctions and it would be much easier to pick 2 strong ones to breed for an f3 eliminating the shitty traits and bringing about the good while also forming an IBL, but this is why its just better to start with more stable genetics.question?????
i gathered some hermie pollen from my blue cheese. but the plant is a terrible pheno. will the plant pass dont these shitty genetics or will it pass down some good genetics along with the crappy ones. I would like to use it but not if the offspring is going ot be shitty like the mother.
if it where me, i would use a small amt for a small batch of seeds and toss the rest, just because you never know, but for the part breeding with that pollen is asking for trouble, because as you put it, the plant was undesirable.
