i gathered some hermie pollen from my blue cheese. but the plant is a terrible pheno. will the plant pass dont these shitty genetics or will it pass down some good genetics along with the crappy ones. I would like to use it but not if the offspring is going ot be shitty like the mother.

well the firs cross would more than likely be a 50/50 mix of genes, but usually the seed bearer passes on the majority of traits, plus there is the off chance for other genes to show, so there is no guarantee that it will come out shitty like the hermi. but its chances of that are higher. if you where to continue on to the F2 generation you would see distinctions and it would be much easier to pick 2 strong ones to breed for an f3 eliminating the shitty traits and bringing about the good while also forming an IBL, but this is why its just better to start with more stable genetics.


if it where me, i would use a small amt for a small batch of seeds and toss the rest, just because you never know, but for the part breeding with that pollen is asking for trouble, because as you put it, the plant was undesirable.

i am working on the g13 F2 tho and the woody haze backcross.

alright, i think im going to use it on a lower branch of the FCJ and use them seeds another time see how they tunr out. i wasnt looking to get anything great out of the deal just wanted to know the chances of passing on the terrible bud structure.

notice how it isnt really filling out, its getting close to done and i dont think its going too. it does have the foxtail going on and extremely swolen calxys (not seeded calyxs i checked) but it just is not filling out...im befundles because her sisters did really well with filling out. just a bad pheno i suppose

thats not a bad pheno, if you check my old journal(ill post a pic later here) i have a blue cheese with the grindspoon pheno also, those are extra potent, be prepared for tiny black seeds, that are very unlikely to germ. thats what im getting from my Chernobyl too tiny black seeds that are hard to germ, very irritating.

they say the grindspoon condition could be a mutation. in fact im surprised your yield looks as well as it does.

some bag seed sativa very lemony, pretty frosty for being bag seed,nice tight little nugs. undr the 160w uvb light for about 2 days now.

g13x(wwxbgmh) all 3 popped. woodyhazex(mexican sativa#2) 2 popped, and (purpxbgmh)x(wwxbgmh) 2 out of 3, but thats okay considering i picked some weak seed to try with those 2.

my methods, used a new butatne(chilled, no room temp or frozen just chilled) i never used before. not sure if its as clean as others(usualy i use vector but this stuff was a little cheaper and still passed the evap test for residue its called fasfil)

i use cured frozen trim, well not cured but at that water consistency


i use a pcv tube and unbleached coffee filter, room temp (just pop the caps on pressure really isnt that high during these extractions, just highly flammable)
that batch i dont think was as good as my last batch, you want the tube stuffed but not packed.

other than that i wrap everything in a bunch of towel so if it explodes i still have my hands

oh and i extract onto a dish that can float in a bath of hot water(straight from the tap nothing more),illl blow on it, pop the bubbles, then ill leave it there for about 30 min come back pop the last tiny bubbles and collect.(as butane evaps i swirl mix around keeping it as thin a possible surface area is your friend
