World Of Hempy

yeah i just got singles, i find it hard to part with the coin lol, i have clones coming out my arse, i would just like to get 1 purple bud, never had a smoke of a true purp, but its just a 1 off as my temps will go too high in spring

i wouldn't go with ice water myself but a nice 'cool' feed i will try out, some people swear by this purple maxx stuff aswell

my purple passion has been on hold lately, i've been busy with xmas ect, i was looking to start them yesterday but i have lost a 5 pack of querkle which must have been thrown away with the rubbish :cry:
i still have singles of G13 Labs Purple Haze,Berry Bomb,Dutch Passion Shaman which i will pop today and my thc bomb i have in flower atm is trying to purple up due to cool nights but not so you could see with a camera, just a little bit lol

Ineverveg, man than really sucks about the querkle. Maybe they'll show up somewhere? Your line up looks good though. I'll be following along and looking forward to pics!

This product doesn't have anything to do with achieving purple buds though does it?

Looks like an organic additive of sorts. With organic additives I 'demand' full disclosure of ingredients, since 'we' can all understand organics easily. Not like chem ferts where the ingredients are just numbers and letters.

Ive been thinking of doing an ALL organic super Coco Hempy. .... Basically, I would like to formulate a coco based 2L recipe, capable of bringing a plant to harvest. Mine are 12/12 from clone so I would need to include enough NPK + micros to last 9 weeks. I only want to feed water.

Im not sure if its possible but Ive got a load of top organic stuff in my garden shed so its worth a go.

I would be worried about them showing up at the WRONG time, if you get what I mean.

With regards to purpling buds, I got lucky with the plush berry, however, my jock horror purpled too! My setup pulls air from my basement bathroom and brings it over the light and back into the tent to cool down. When I unplugged the ballast for the light period, I forgot to turn off the fan for the aircooled hood. I got home last friday night for chopping and noticed the fan was blowing cold air all over my plants for about 5 hours. I noticed my jock horror had purple all in the leaves and it was a nice treat. I'll throw up some pics of the bud tonight. Just ordered some XL stash jars as I've never had this much bud before.

Qrazy train, plush berry, and Blue dream haze are in the cloner. Going on 4 days so I have some time before the roots kick out. Have to wash my 2 liters in prep for the next run too. Ordered a 400watt MH bulb for the veg. Gonna veg these bitches to about 10" before flippin em. I'm gonna flip the blue dreams sooner though since they are stretchy lil bitches.

Yeah, its certainly a fantastic feeling having lots of your own bud, I feel sick at the money I spent buying tiny pieces over the years.

If you can manage it, store some bud away for a couple of months. ... Last week I found some cheese on my top shelf that I grew 2-3months ago. Tasted much much nicer than the 4 week cure I had been giving my personal. .... And that piece hadnt been in a jar, just sitting on an open shelf.
 
Browsing IKEA for furniture (its all crap!) and I found this.

Heck yea, I can see a secondary res on the bottom with a timer+pump to fill a top res once a day that the hempys would be sitting in (on top the grate). Could get it dialed in and leave it automated for extended periods of time. I'm probably being cpt obvious right now.

Yeah, I have 10 plush berry clones lined,14 qrazy train, and 6 blue dream haze. Once I hit roots, I'm going to veg them a little longer this time and add some roots execulator to the mix for more roots.
 
All this talk of how to start clones and seeds and no one has mentioned the simplest and least expensive. Dirt, or since it best to use a good grade lets say soil. 2/3 of a party cup of good potting soil costs less than RW or RR, (areo is very low overhead).

Advantages; Easier to root larger clones; No need to deal with nutes, enough food for at least 3wk; Generally a great root foundation for transplant at 2wks; Larger volume easier to maintain moisture levels.

Disadvantages; Really just one big one. Space, it takes more space to start in soil cups. And if you want to start 100 it's gonna take a lot of room.

If you're having problems with starting clones try some soil, there is no problem droppin' a soil core into perlite or coco bucket.
 
Still in the planning stages of my next grow, have the babies in hempy style coco dixie cups atm and love the progress so far, Is coco an easier way to grow hempy then pure perlite or is perlite the ideal way to go for growth rate, i want a short veg this time around and would hate to sacrifice in yield.
