How would you control guns?

How should we regulate guns?

I asked a question; you could have just answered it and avoided this "shit storm". I haven't noticed such a thing though; the conversation seems to keep carrying on.
I know. It's so weird. It just strangely keeps carrying on. My bad. Your right, i am wrong. Next.

How would I control guns?
I would steady the sights in alignment with my intended target, and squeeze the trigger while exhaling.

Seriously though, I think, with or without guns, the level of malice in our world needs to be addressed.

I dint mean you. I asked you because i see you have been here for a couple months and have a couple thousand posts. Iv only been here for a week, i don't post a lot on the internet. Still trying to figure things out. Making some mistakes. Pissing some people off i think lol. I wasn't implying anything at all towards you, so you know. I like reading your posts! One of the nicer people on here.

I try to keep things "professional". A couple thousand posts in a couple months... Must be a typo somewhere.

If it happens in my home it's fair game.

Any other firearms you'd like to know about? I have them in the bathroom, the bedroom, the kitchen, the vehicles, on me, around me, and my woman has them too.

The question is: how do we address that malice?

Don't try breaking into my home or carjacking me. You'll be shot. As far as out in the streets? Most them dipshits simply don't have gun owner responsibility in their heads let alone know how to use them effectively.

2,000 posts since November, I'd say that it's accurate. Good for you, you are more active than most; to include myself. haha

20-30 posts per day. Cn is at like, 50-60 per day. Fdd is about 20-30 a day. Big deal. I'm simply a regular here. Doesn't take long to rack up post count.

I was talking how to mitigate the malice outside our homes (In the streets, if you will.). One would think the risk of getting shot would be more of a deterrent.

You make a lot of posts, relative to the norm and how long you've been here. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation.

Well... Alaska has an open carry law. I can roll into a gas station with a firearm on my side. The presence alone can make people think twice. It can also make me first target, something I've thought about well in advance.

A good holster solves concerns of the snatch and grab. The rest of a close range attempt on your gun is solved by a good knife. I do agree that an open carry is generally a deterrent, though. It has kept me out of trouble in the phoenix are on a couple occasions. Not due to my carrying, but a friend's.

That makes me want to carry an unloaded weopon as a decoy.

The best "close range" shit is avoided by not letting anyone within 6 feet of you. It's a habit you adjust to by instinct. Would you stand closer than 6 feet to a bear? No. Instincts tell you that. You should expect everyone you encounter to be capable of trying some funny business. The best method of prevention is preparedness.

Apparantly post count is huge around here also.
Is it? It could have said 10,000 and it wouldn't have thought any different. My only thought was that you have more experience dealing with people on here than i do. And that you were nice enough of a person i could ask a off topic question and you wouldn't make a big deal out of it. I have to be more careful. Some people are touchy!!!

Post count does hold sway at times, but evidence reigns king when it is brought up. With the exception of Fin's threads. lol

I got most of my post count from his worthless thread. But, if you want to test my knowledge, be my guest. I'm always down to play Q and A.

Yep. I'm pretty laid back. I try to help the board, share Alaska with RIU, and keep a little peace and quiet on the board.

As far as experience with dealing with people, so far, the RIU community as treated me very well. So I try to help around here when I can.
