Ditch those Halogens ,
Lot's of power and heat , not much useable light even though they look bright.

I know they didn't turn purple due to low temps, but thank you.
And yrs, I'm aware of how awful the lamps are.

I just would reccomend ditching them now , buy some cfl's until you decide what to do as in HID/LED,
they must be spinning that meter and in enclosed spaces they are dangerous,
sorry to harp on.

Yeah I never got that Im in a bind but I will use the highest wattage least efficient light available to grow a little sickly plant theory.

He bought them but didn't know prior to buying them that they let off that much heat...but hey you live and learn

Oh I get it now. I had a cousin that bought a shotgun that blew up in his face but he just kept on shooting it until he could afford a new one but then when he went to go get the new one they wouldnt sell it to him cuz he had no fucking face.

I tried Mecury Vapour bulbs , fist grow backin the 90's , what a f*** up that was ,
Bean sprouts with pop corn on , i thought i was stoned anyway ,
In veg if you control the heat they are ok , come rippining time , forget it,
I did cfl's after that , they were fluffy , but plants had better stature, and i still convinced myself i was stoned,
if i had of listened from day 1 i would have saved hundreds,
sometimes its ok to "learn by your mistakes" ,
then again there is no substitute for experience...

Lol i know where your coming from bigv but atleast he's using 2700k bulbs instead of the usual shop lights...that would be pointless
