NEW PICS.... I took a tiny piece of bud from about 1/3 of the way down the biggest cola. I leave the top alone because it matures the quickest and I want to make sure that the rest of the bud is mature before I chop her!

Still not quite ready :D Almost completely cloudy... still need to see some Amber... I'm guessing 5 days... should be 1 more straight pH watering, and then CHOPPY CHOPPY. :blsmoke:

you should try to look at the trichs on the flowers instead of the sugar leaves, the sugar leaves will mature quicker than the buds from what I have read so I really try to look at the trichs on the flowers with the microscope. Hopefully someone can confirm what I am saying is true, sorry if it isnt :eyesmoke:

Regardless, I find that if there is no amber and all mostly cloudy the buds are getting me high just fine, never really noticed a difference.

I do check on the buds :) I cut a small piece of bud off and take a gander under the microscope... the last shots were about 1/3 of the way down on the main cola.

Is budcandy not just overdrive mixed with big bud ?

and are they both not just pretty much carboload, pk and rooting hormone ?

I was thinking to go with some kind of honey and fulvic acid for my last 2 to 4 weeks of bloom and just do a 3 day flush just not sure what honey would be stable for hydro but taste wise I`m thinking some kind of fruit honey like maybe orange blossom honey ? Mmmmm I can just taste the bud now with a hint of orange honey

Shit I wanted to use cheap honey fuck me and my ideas I`m sure I have some home made cyprus honey made by some old guy in my grandparents village I might just use that...................

I thought budcandy was blackstrap molasses and other stuff.....

SOOOO CLOSE!!!

This is a micro shot of a tiny piece of bud about 4 inches down from the top of the main cola. Only a few more days... starting to see some mild amber... :D

Those ladies look purty man, how old are they now? I have read that when the trichs turn amber they are converted to cbn and cbd and lose nearly all of their thc. It's supposedly outdated to wait for amber trichs.

The up-to-datest people don't wait for amber? Are they still waiting for the highest percent of cloudy trichomes? I've thought of amber as being the signal that you've got the highest percent of cloudies in as much as the cloudies are going to start reducing in number and turning into ambers; sorta like reaching the crest or summit before heading back down the other side. Am I wrong or are we talking about the same thing?

Also, after seeing this, I'm sold on the Area51 series. Thanks for contributing to my thread BeefBisquit!

I'm a heavy smoker, and cerebral high is nice - but I need some couch lock to feel 'buzzed'...

I like 5-10% amber, 85% cloudy, and 5-10% clear! :D
