Ok so ive been smoking for a year straight now and i used to smoke cigs to but stopped that a while ago now on ecigs...but ive noticed i still hack up lots of shit and it is usually brown or has lil stringy brown shit in it
Alright so for all u smokers have u found a way to help stop hackin shit up
That was after a few bong rips

The only way is to reduce smoking and increase exercise. You need to expand your lungs and get htem used to working at 100% capacity again. Which will require coughing more shit out.

Get a vaporizer and do cardio every day and you'll clean out at a remarkable pace.

Wish I could take my own advice. I'm hacking up crap instead.

You have to exercise. That seriously is the only solution. You need to get your lungs working more than they are. That's why the phlegm collects. No body ever wants to hear it, but daily cardio will definitely keep your lungs in better shape.

Even if you keep smoking just as much, it will make a difference once you get past the hump. But at first it's gonna be tough to breathe as you try to open up those congested channels... just work through it, keep your pace steady, and keep hacking that shit up... you'll level out in a week or two

How long did you smoke cigs for and how much did you smoke? It can take a heavy smokers lungs multiple years to fully recover.

smoked on and off since age 13... never hacked up anything... unless it was cold related.. a pack of smokes will last me a good 5-6 days, I will lite one... smoke a few puffs.. and put it out.. I dont ever crave them... unless I go out to smoke some MJ then I must have a few cig puffs...
I am sure it was a habit I created when I first started smoking MJ...

I am still waiting for scientist to say.. OK cigs are not so bad for ya... like they say with eggs every so often..

The rest of your body? Are you disabled?

Breathing exercises are the only way to "simulate" the effect of cardio upon the cardiovascular system. You'd basically be doing cardio without going anywhere. Even if you can wave your arms around until you're fucking tired once a day, that's cardio.

It tends to make you feel better in general anyway. You might want to try it, instead of making excuses! haha.

Swimming is the ultimate form of cardio. It also (when done correctly) works out close to 90% of your body's muscle groups (both fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibers.) Swimming is also a zero impact cardio exercise.

I hit the gym every day, so I can swim. I skipped 3 other memberships that were cheaper, so I could swim. After weights, I swim, after Insanity Cardio, I swim, after sparring, I swim, on my rest day ... I go in and swim. Man, I love LOVE swimming! I miss the warm oceans of South America! I swear, my skin aged 4-5 years in the first year after I stopped my daily saltwater swims.

I pay 40 a month, 70 when the boss lady has her account unfrozen. I look at it like I'm paying 40 a month for a pool pass... All the weight training, sparring, cardio machines... That's just icing. It's all about that swimming pool (I do Insanity at home, anyway.)
If my day has been absolute shit, one of THOSE days... I'll go down to the gym at around 10:00, blaze in the parking lot, and just swim laps until they close at midnight. As long as the pool's empty (normally is) they'll even turn off the overheads, so it's just the pool lights.

Well, OP, if you don;t want to stop smoking, and you don;t want to do any cardio, BUT you want to be able to stretch your lungs..... I'd say let someone choke the shit out of you. When they stop you'll gasp for air. Your lungs will fill up with as much oxygen as they can get. All I can think of, besides drowning for a bit too.

That sounds fuckin' sweet, haha. I'm wicked out of shape and have very little mass, so I've always been kind of embarassed at the idea of going to a gym, honestly. But fuck that, I want to swim. I'll probably stay away from the heavy lifting room with all those hardcore dudes though, haha.

Insanity is an interval training program, right?

You guys are getting me pumped up for the summer. Moving into some apartments soon, so I'll be next to a pool again!! Gonna toke it up in my room and head down to the pool. I only swim at night or during school days when all the annoying kids are gone lol.

I bet gym pools are even better tho. Might go check some out. Shiit. I feel like swimming now, come on cold seasons, hurry up!
