Im glad this thread brought satisfaction to someone other than myselfI've enjoyed reading your journey, and glad to see you've turn two of the girls around. Just wondering if you ever wiped the leaves off...the ones with the white drips on them? Idk if it matters or not, but I'd be cleaning them up.
The plant on the left looks like it still needs more soil and that is why it doesn't have much for foliage. imo
I read somewhere once and it's stuck with me...I don't clone any plants grown from seed until they are 8 weeks old. Something about maturity. I could be wrong too I'm sure someone will pick up on it
I noticed you like to do things with your plants alot (transplanting and such) and I just want to stress before you clone...don't go checking on them for roots every day like my fiance likes to sneak and do. I feel it's like...a watched pot doesn't boil...leave their cubes alone. Just keep them at a pleasant temperature and try not to mist too often. I mist the dome more than the plants.
Good luck man hope to see how your grow finishes out.
Dude go read some of the sticky threads in newbie secton. There is so much wrong with what you wrote. Start in smaller pots and pot up. Much better for them as a huge pot of soil will hold way too much moisture for a seedling. 24 20/4 or 18/6 are fine for veg just choose one and use it. Do not use ANY fertilizer during germination or sprout especially if they are in time release ferted soil. You dont need fertilizer until the plants are well established. Late veg is when you will need it not when you cut if off.....Nitrogen is an essential VEG nutrient and very much less needed past about 2 weeks in flower...flower is not when one should introduce N.If I do decide to germinate, Could I start my plants in the larger pots?
starting 24/0 for sprout, 20/4 once they sprout, 18/6 for vegetation and then end it with a 12/12?
would it be okay to feed 10-15-10 NPK during germination and sprout? cut it off during vegetation, and introduce nitrogen when i start flowering??
Where are you getting clones? not off those plants. 4 1/2 months old? Plants should be healthy when you take clones otherwise you are propagating ill health. 4 month old plants can be 4 feet tall and absolutely should have massive amounts of braching...i dont see any yet.Im glad this thread brought satisfaction to someone other than myself
Ive never considered whiping it off as it has no effect on them. its mainly dry dew. not a big deal at all.
I know, the plant on the left does have minor issue with rooting right now but i will let the roots grow out of the recently-buried stem. I'l add more soil ontop in a week or so
Yes, I also read that a plant needs to be more than 2 months old before being cloned. Would you believe me if I told you that these plants are 4 1/2 months to 5 months old now? LOL!
Checking up on my plants is one of my favorite things to do. Thanks for the tip to stop me from doing what i enjoy! :'(
Im just kidding ;p
How often would you say you mist them a day? I'm thinking 2-3 times to begin with, mainly on the dome lid but a bit on the clones aswell.
I was hoping some one would say it by the time I got to the end of the thread and retired matt got it to much water with those you nrrd at least 250 watt hid or t5 the nutes are fine ! the saging leaves and slow grow is from to much water they need to get a little dry for roots to grow!!!also also ur 14-10-14 will need to be changed to 5-20-15 or somthing close to that when you switch to 12/12oh and your overwatering them big time. mor elight...stop watering..this will help you considerably
and when i say stop watering i mean stop watering. not skip 1 day.....they probably can go almost a week without water right now. also make sure your pots are allowing excess water to drain out the bottom
in your post you say you have been researching. not sure where but this thread here is a great place for you to start.
