Blue Dream 150w hps

It's time for someone to work on their reading comprehension skills!

Using pots/soil grow, it is easy to simply raise a small plant in a pot close to the light and even out the canopy using any number of items such as phone books, boxes, etc.

I was lamenting the fact that with my hydro set up I no longer have the ability to do this.

So i'm postive it's not blue dream now, from what i've seen it's mostly sativa, long thin leaves. Haha it's kind of funny to be able to confront my dealer about throwing a name on it XD

they look like blue dream to me... thats almost identical leaf structure. You will know for sure when/if they get that hazy candy smell!

Dude, I swear on my mothers beating heart I was JUST (like literally 1 minute ago) smelling #1 thinking "if its not blue dream i'll call it candy fuel" because it smells JUST like candy.

Formal Update: Week 4 (28 days) flowering!
Alrighty, it's been a blast growing these plants out! Aside from the fan fiasco very, VERY easy growing.
150w HPS
Homemixed Soil
Ph'd tap water
1-2ish gal pots
3 bag seed, each female, week 4 since 12/12 switch

Biggest change I've made is tieing down #3 from this...
to this...


Other than that, no major news. #2 is growing strong even after the fan attack

its a little late to be tieing down plants that have already done their flower "stretch". I stop tieing down, strain dependent, after 10 days of flowering. I use a trellis, so my tieing down is more or less just a modified supercrop onto/wrapped around the trellis. With the blue dream it does have a more pronounced flower stretch, so I can tuck them under the trellis until about the end of week 2. Next time you should try a small scrog. I use plasic ( or string ) trellis as a pose to metal chickenwire or a fence of some kind, because i can cut it up quickly, they're extremely inexpensive, and they make for an easier harvest. This might also help you control any height issues and maximize every bit of that precious light. looking good tho!

Super cropping Range.

You can/could have broken that apical top and just let it hang there for a while. After a couple days it should stand back up on it's own!
I almost completely broke a branch of....But it didn't completely break, I just let if there and it healed itself over the course of a couple weeks.
It was a BAD BREAK THO.
But super cropping or pinching and snapping the stems are what you wanna look for!
It's a altrnative to use if you need a last LST

true that sincerely. I've had branches break like that before with no issues. If its a REALLY bad break, sometimes I take a little cloning gel to seal the wound and stake the branch back upright. After that I will sometimes use a little bit of blue painters tape to help heal the wound, and hold the limb in place. I saw that when people graft different strains onto one plant, that they use cloning gel to seal it up and then tape it, so I inherited that and it works pretty damn good. Thats one thing I have yet to try and am very interested in. GRAFTING! the possibilities of only having one mother plant with all of my favorite strains growing on it blows my mind! I think this is my next step as a grower. Frist grafting, and then breeding...

you will learn as you progress as a grower, and like I said blue dream is a very good strain to learn with. You will eventually adapt to your own styles and techniques. A little research never hurts though. I have been growing for about 7 years now, and I still finger through my literature on growing, regularly. I swear every time I read a new maximum yield or high times I am finding out new tricks, etc. Gotta stay on top of things or one of these days people might be growing better herb than me, LOL...

So ive been a part of this website for about 2 and a half years and I still dont know how to subscribe to a thread. lol... guess i've never really tried

Thanks man! It's funny because I actually tried supercroping #3 afew weeks ago, but it was an awful break, pressed it way to hard and it bend ALL the way over, turned green and never healed itself so I had to chuck it. I guess I didnt know to let it heal itself over afew days. Live and learn though

Def. not a heat issue bro! No tacoing closest to the lights, or anywhere for that matter!
Looks like an abundance of N to me! Which if that's the case it's not a good thing! You need more P these days, but having an adequate amount of N is supposed to help maintain some foliage!

80-85 day and 65-75 nights, and i noticed alot of pistles browning on plant#1 which i've read could be a sign of pollenation... but i'm not really sure what it is, i'll be watering in afew hours and i'll check the runoff ph as well to make sure

Yeah if it's a heat issue it's a very mild one. and how would you go about fixing a high N problem in soil?
