I'm not sure about what you mean when you said living on in your children. Certainly though I know my children have my dna. If you tried to say one of them was your son it would be easy to prove you wrong.

You seem to enjoy rediculing those who have the faith to believe in God. And yet, you espouse your own faith in believing in evolution. Show me the fossil evidence that man evolved from the lower specie and I will believe in your evolution. If you cannot show the fossil evidence, then you are taking your position on evolution not based upon scientific fact, but upon faith alone. You seem to take great delight in your cruel dialoge and bashing others for their faith in their God, and yet you believe in supernatural faux science yourself. You are nothing more than a hypocrite, Sonny.

You may prefer to believe that you are a decendent of monkeys, apes or a lowly single cell amoeba, but I prefer to believe that I am the decendent of a much Higher Power. Now go stick your prejudices where the sun doesn't shine.

geez someone older than me on this site, who'd of thunk. I remember when I started smokin pot 1969, smoked for 28 years daily, then got a job with drug testing and quit. Yep, I'm an oldster all right. Smoked my first joint with a friend in 1953 at the ripe old age of 14. Now, like you ... I use it to for pain control, specifically to relieve cramping due to a neuropathic disease I have. Some of the symptoms are similar to those of MS patients. Cannabis relieves the cramping faster and more completly than any prescription drug I've yet tried. Not to mention that after all these years, I still enjoy the high as well.

Question for ya MUO ... what happened to that great pot of yester-year? You know, the stuff that caused those cartoon images and the slow motion world?

There's tonnes more evidence to suggest that we came from a single-strand protein than there is an existence of a God.

Where does God live?

I'll tell you what God is. God is you and me, the trees, the moon the sea. Shit that's poetic. God is life. If you want to know who created God, it was you and me.

I understand why people feel the need to believe in a God, especially when you get to your age Vi. But when you believe in Yourself and Your power, You will truly be free.

When you die Vi, that's it. The bible is merely a coded way of trying to get people to behave themselves. A belief in an afterlife makes you believe that death isn't so bad.

Ever been knocked unconscious Vi? I went to have a tooth removed a number of years ago due to an apcess underneath. I had to be injected with novacaine. After I came round I didn't even realise that I'd been under. I tried to get out of the chair but was steadied by the dentist. I have no memory of the tooth being removed because I was unconscious. They'd taken my consciousness away for 10 minutes.

When you are dead you lose your consciousness, I've heard it's the last to go but it goes all the same.

So you stick that up your jacksy Vi. Carry on believing in your fairy tales if you like. If you want to see some fossils search the internet as I don't have any on me at the moment.

i think that all religion is just an attempt to create followers of whatever created people. i dont think that any of 'gods' judgement could be comprehended by humans, if he wanted us to be perfectly happy then why arnt we ?
the fact remains that we live in an imperfect world and that is not going to change. i think that we were put here to prove ourselves as people. i can understand the commandments and stuff it is just basically a way that if everyone belived in a religion it would create a perfect world. a perfect world is a human dream because everyones ideal of perfection is different.
therefore religion only has one purpose and that is to give people hope of this perfect world. Hope i can understand religion i cant.

You come visit me and I'll take you on a trip that will have you on your knees praying to whatever you believe in to let up on the intensity. Peyote is a medicine and must be approached in the correct way or else you'll just puke your guts out and see intense colors. I spent months in the desert of Arizona (Beautiful) with a medicine man and learned a few things that I can't even express in words. The one thing I did find out: There is a power greater than me in the universe. Did you know that Sitting Bull charged a batallion of U.S. calvary with repeating firearms and never got a scratch. He was on the medicine. I myself have experienced out of body and defied gravity (physically) so you see there are things that you might not understand going on in this world. If you want to remain the tough guy its allright with me, I'm just for making the world a better place for my grandkids, enough said!

Where does God live?

My grandson and I visited the Grand Canyon together when he was eight years old. I'm sure you've seen pictures of the Grand Canyon, right? Well pictures don't even come close to the majesty of the place. When we were overlooking the view, I asked myself that very question ... where does God live? I asked; does He live in the sky? No, that wasn't it. Does He live in the beauty of the natural setting? Nope, that wasn't it either. As the sun started to set, I saw a ray of light hit the hair on my grandson's head with a particulary beautiful glow. His innocence, youth and beauty was magnified in that moment, and the overwhelming love I felt for my grandson rose to new heights. And then it hit me like a ton of bricks ... the immense love I felt for my grandson at ther very moment? ... THAT'S where God lives.

Sitting Bull was also KILLED. Just because it was written that he didn't receive a scratch in one battle, he certainly made up for it in the end. So because he didn't get a scratch in one battle this prooves that there are larger forces at work?

Where's Jesus hanging about these days? Heaven right? When I asked where God lived, I meant exactly where. I mean how far do you have to travel to get to heaven? It certainly doesn't show up on them giant telescopes.
