The funny thing about the back & forth going on in this thread is the fact that both Rare D & eyeball are super nice guys.
There's really no need to try & publicly air dirty laundry in an attempt to damage another's reputation or community.
I have known both of them for awhile, and I never thought either of them would digress into this type of behavior.
I understand both of their concerns and problems, but both of them need to understand that the only thing that is going to keep coming out of the negativity is more back and forth with no recourse.
I think there are relevant points being made here. G3C IS cliquey as hell. Lots of small groups are like that, and I would think for some that a recent trip to the C.Cup would hammer this home.
An easy solution against a clique is to just align yourself with it.
I am not sure why anyone would want to be part of a clique that defines itself by high school behavior like singling out others because of their hairstyle, but I don't think that anyone should allow their entire experience to be ruined or opinion swayed by some misconstrued statements.
Cliques are just small communities or families. To be an active member of one, you only need to take part in club-sponsored community projects that immerse you within that group. By doing this you not only help out the community, but become an active member of that group.
You can also sign up for a community board which will allow interaction with other members who actually have the authority to change policy, and fix small issues.
Although, you shouldn't have to do any of this to be treated respectfully or fairly as a member. I think that we sometimes forget it's really about the patients, and the changes the medicine can make for their life.

Very well put! This is what jumps out at me in this whole scenario. I'm not saying that Rare D or homeless should have their asses kissed or anything, but you have two individuals that not only have some nice looking meds, but they also have the ability to donate some great genetics. A compassion club should be focused on the patients, and putting quality meds and quality genetics in their hands. It seems counter intuitive to be chasing people like them away, imo.

I have yet to drink the Kool Aid but I did have a good time at G3C tonight talking to DJ Short. They also had a nice spread of food.

Worth every penny and they had little problem filling up the room. They didn't have to feed us but it was very nice that they did. I wouldn't hesitate to go to another class there. Now I would imagine I'm older than many on this site. And as I get older, I find myself hating less and being grateful for my life more. What I have, my friends, my family, my experiences. If you got to see him for free, that's awesome. Glad you're getting a good deal. But it takes me 8 minutes and very little gas to get to G3C. It would take about $50 in gas and 1 hr (one way) to get to OM. Plus I have nothing bad to say about G3C. Unlike others on this board, my experiences there have been good. I've been turned away to vend there. But for me, I'm not driving from forever to be told "sorry you're s.o.l.". My attitude might be different if that was the case.

From what people say, OM is the shit. I don't doubt that. Are they better than G3C? I have no idea because I have never been there.

Never bought any meds from the OM. They are better decorated, its a really nice looking place. Check out there website. I don't think you can medicate there. I would think the G3C would have a better selection just based on the fact there are so many vendors but I don't actually know.
