I have a light almost exactly like that one but mines white! lol My grow is gonna be smaller than this though i really like the setup you got going here. Can't wait to see what kind of yield you'll have.
you have an eBay light as well? have you started using it yet? mine isnt doing too bad so far i think, this is still my first grow so i dont know what i should expect if it were under a HPS or CFL so i dont have much to compare it to.

12 Days old now, sorry for the blurry pic, i came back from work today to notice the leafs drooping down abit. i watered it 2 days ago and the soil is still wet. not sure what the cause is because the leaves are nice and green still. will give it a few days to work itself out!

IF this was under a hps, it would be getting close to 3' tall, not 3". If these are the same beans you cracked a month ago, based on the date you started this thread, your plants are severely behind schedule. They simply aren't getting enough intense light. Since there's little growth, there's little demand for water and nutritional uptake, and as a result, your roots aren't developing and your soil is staying soaked way too long, causing stagnant conditions for the feeble plant.

The last pic I posted up is it 12 days old from seed. The others o started a month ago died because they got root rot from a fuck up I made.
The grinspoon the only plant in soil ATM and is 12 days old and I have two white widows that I'm germing and should be putting in soil under the light today/tomorrow

You might want to also consider focusing on just one strain at a time. It's easier to track problems and you'll be more likely to snag a keeper pheno. Especially if you're in the learning stage. Each strain reacts different, grows different heights and will require different levels of TLC. Speaking of TLC, the White Widow strain is a bit fickle, so if you can rein it in, many other strains will seem quite easy. The challenge: get through budding without losing all your fan leaves.

Yeah I have an ebay light too lol and it's actually working really good for me doing a test run with bagseed while my auto buddha purple kush are germing in the paper towl, it's doing a lot better than what i got with cfl's for sure and less heat in my small space

If she's drooping downwards man she's got too much water, best to let the soil tell you when to water ;) if it's dry, give it a little bit of water, of it's wet leave her alone for another day and check again :D

Yeah i deffinately will do just one strain at a time next grow. when i have space for a mother plant as well ill look into pheno hunting as well. until then im really keen on the grinspoon but its a long flowering period, so more chance for me to kill it plus i have some donated white widow seeds im very interested in growing as well

thats great to hear about your light, do you still have the link for the eBay light you got? i wouldnt mind seeing the add to try and compare it to mine so i can see any differences :)
how far into using are you?

i watered her a few days ago, will deffinately wait it out and see how she goes. learnt my lesson the first time with some drooping then over watering! :P

Good man :D she'll be right hey! In my limited sativa growing experience, the ones i have grown have taken a little while to grow good roots so were easy to over water...dunno if its the same for yours but something to be mindful of :) you're doing well though man!!

Why rip it up? Not enough room for all of them? I'd take it off your hands if I could lol, no point it going to waste :P

Well not really space just the two purple kush plans are autos so i'll have them on 20/4 light schedule their entire lives. It's growing pretty quick though compared to results i've had with experimenting with cfl's I'm really happy with the LED so far can't wait to see what kind of yield i get with it. It's marketed as I think either 130 or 160 but it's actually pulling closer to 100w it says that in their product description though

ah fair enough, i didnt think it mattered much with auto flowers either using 12/12 or 20/4. i thought there was no difference in its end yield. then again i hadn't researched it too much!
whats the eBay link for your light?? :D

And my cab is almost done!
I'm running it tonite with the CFL because the CFL gets allot hotter then the LED.
So it should give me a good handle on how hot it'll get in there over night :)I have two 120mm Noctua PC fans at the top in an S bend elbow to get rid of the light leak
and i have the intake done with a bunch of angled steel to act as a free flowing air intake with a small fan on top to push the air in the direction of the plants.
i may swap it out with a PC fan instead as itll stress it less and not be as strong and turbulent as the current desk fan thats in there. but ill see!

Once the LED is in there i will clean up the cables and have them all tucked away neatly and not how they are just dangling atm.

Oh and atm it looks like one of the two White Widows i have inside my little ice cream tube incubator is about to pop. I think i can see what looks to be cotyledon pushing through the top of the rockwool :)

Sick dude, coming along nicely!! Not long to go now :D

Are you going to keep a desk fan inside the cab to keep the air moving as well? A small one should keep it moving pretty nicely :)

Yeah I'll definitely have a fan above the intake vent.
Not sure if I'll keep that one or wire up another PC fan, I'll wait and see if that one I'm using now pushes the plants around too much or not

And my grinspoon is looking a nice healthy green.
Because she has such a long flowering time does that mean her growth would be slower as well?
I'm noticing growth on her but it's at a pretty slow pace

Good man, the more air the better ;)

Yeah dude, sativas generally take a little longer to veg than indicas but the explosion of growth in flower is more
noticable :) glad to hear the grinspoon is going well to hey :D see its all too easy hey :)
