hey guys, look closely at that picture for me please. I can't see it clearly. I went online to look into it because he updated the post and the bike is an x15 not an x18. One said that they were automatic, and then later I found one saying they were the standard one down three up manual. I might just be seeing the kickstand but does it look like that actually has the shift lever in front of the foot rest? Makes a major difference because I can't seem to find a manual conversion kit for the bike so if it's an auto I'm stuck and won't buy it. Holding off on just asking the guy because I don't have the money yet and don't want to get him all excited that I'm interested when I can't actually pay him. On the other note I told dad that he is not by any meanings helping me with a full size. I won't allow it lol, I'll get one when I can buy it on my own because I feel bad taking money like that even from him.
For the project I'll be doing-
a new carb upping it from the standard 19mm to a 24mm
new intake manifold (has to be done to accommodate the new carb)
possibly a big bore kit if I'm feeling up to it lol
new exhaust
new cdi
new brakes
and maybe more but after all that there's not much to do but an engine swap lol, and that will MORE than surpass my 80mph goal so I may not even do all of that. The new cdi is probably going to be my first upgrade because it's one of the cheapest and it doesn't link to the others. Like the carb links to the new intake manifold and that new power will probably force me to get the new exhaust to remove all the new air that is going in, and that new power will require me to get the new brakes lol.
edit: so I called the guy about if it's a manual or auto. It is indeed a manual! But wait theres more! It's a SIX SPEED! But hold up, keep it in your pants I'm not done yet. It's a race bike and does 70 as is, stock. Which means I won't have to do hardly any work, if any at all! My tax returns can not come here fast enough! Now I'm worried if it sells!
