Alright time for the weight so I can stick them in the freezer ASAP...... ILP's cheesedream:

001.jpg002.jpg004.jpg003.jpg005.jpg006.jpg<<as you can tell my trim job was not that great:P............76.4 grams off of 65 total watts from the Hans panel LED, run at full power since germination. KEEP in mind my conservative trimming and I left the stem on the biggest bud^^^ on the top of the plastic pot. Like I said last grow this panel will get you easily over a 1 GPW due to the great emitters used. If I corrected the deficiencies faster and let her finish "naturally" the #'s would have been way higher IMO. Anyways strain was a BIG factor here and I would like to thank ILP for letting me try his great genetics.

be safe and happy growing RIU

frosty brownness . smoke report...????

psu. you got to try the same strain under both lights this time so we can really see who the champ is. ..

with the def, using the mix of uprising and jamaican guano. works great. not one def at all. The last 3 that I chopped were green all the way to the end , no fading. With my reused soil. Last I mixed worm castings, compost, dole lime, epsom salt, happy frog guano, and new soil. Use roots and jam guano (flower) for topdressing. Just the stuff from super soil that breaks down fast. In March I'll start using super soil thats been cooking

Have to agree here Brother Psu, let's do same strain comparison, same size pots, soil and nutes with feeding schedual. I'm sure the Hans will still out preform but then there will be no excuse.
I'm not sure but I think i got a mutant strain going here. HG 6 004.jpg

;-) thanks
the numbers are hard to argue with, I'm really impressed with that little LED.

It seems like a lot of people are trying too hard, and this just shows that if you have enough room for one plant, you can still crop >2oz ... plenty for your own stash.

Psuagro thanks for doing this journal. I know you've said this previously but it bears repeating that this can't be considered any kind of side by side based on weights since the strains were different, harvest times were different, etc. So to all those that would say that the LED beat the induction based on weight you're comparing apples and oranges. Neither one outperformed the other in a true head to head competition. Perhaps a true side by side can be done on the next run but for now can you make any comments in the smoke quality between the two. I'm particularly wondering if you saw the quality increase in the annubis under the indagro? They were some squat frosty bitches and based on your 'holy shit-frosty cuttings' statement below I'd be damned curious as to how this run of annubis tests out. It sounds like the inda-gro/annubis run bears repeating too!

  • ...Started the trim on the squatty bitch and began eating the frosted cuttings from her and My left side of my face has been numb for hours now! holy shit is she potent and I don't know how I even finished the trim job to be honest......I ate more and my Sunday is looking like a couch day..

I have another question for Psuagro if you would indulge me? If you had the room to put in one 420 ($795 ea )or 4-5 of the Hans panels ($...ea) which way would you be inclined to go and why?

Thanks again for the excellent ride and looking forward to your next garden.

Eheh... Nice pull.. Quality Leds you see..
No whites too! No IR? So while some are still looking for the best spectrum, others grow nice buds with good diodes (photons photons photons)

This is very Good times For The micro growers heat issues scenario..

Leds kick ass!

Well done psuafriend!

Who would ever doubt you?;-).........I really wish both Cheesedreams turned out female === would have been a better comparison for sure....I want to know what your building/ any hints?

Hey i've been trying to track down a website for the Hans panels , is this the legit website to buy from? http://www.bonsaihero.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4&Itemid=4 2 panels seems like a good deal , I was going to buy one but when you factor in $50 alone for shipping buying a second down the road isnt cost effective.

duh....really should read properly the first post :)
Yep that's the one^^^^.....I should have bought two, but I knew of zero grows with them so didn't want to risk the $$$...........of course then Digimidgi, chilazaro, manoos grows proved they work well. One thing I always believe with new grow tech, If good results can't be repeated by other growers then it's a scam/bs/cheating whatever going on.

This was not a comparison grow, tried to change the thread title and got nada........The strain difference is huge, and gave the led a big advantage. Ill do a smoke report after thirty days or so......I got roots organic Nitro bat guano(3lb) for 12 bucks from growers house and some cheap cocco to cut my local soil with again!(lol), I swear max 30% this time....Do you think it's possible to make supersoil in a MONTH with a compost tumbler/accelerate the cooking time??

Yep I agree friend^^^.............Nice plant!!!!

Thanks Dawg..........As much as I abused and mistreated her she still produced well, this plant still amazes me how hard it is to kill it.

I agree completely.........MJ will adapt to most light sources and this just shows that when given water/nutrients/space/and simple training can perform well. GROWER ERROR is usually it's only hindrance indoors.

Ha I was close On my geuss.
Whats next homie?
Yeah not bad Forever........My next run I'm gonna try to make Tesla proud:P Just the Inda-gro 100/pontoons over two NL#5 (3gal) see if I can hit some great #'s with induction; I didn't do it justice this round.

The only true side by side has to be with CLONES from the same mom, I realized this early when I got two completely different pheno's from "supposedly" same strain of Anubis. Pyramid seeds has confirmed that I was NOT given Anubis Fem's and then shit hit the fan(LONG story!!!).........BUT I'm over it and got free strong smoke to boot.

I don't know which one is better for YOUR situation.....You have to weight the pros vs cons..........give some more specs about your layout/#plants/etc......

That's so impressive with the 76g , if you had a couple of those lights in a tent hammering just two plants at the most you would get a unreal yeild. Less is more:)

Psu. With month super soil probably. Sub guanos for meals, mexican for blood meal and indonesian guano or maybe rock phosphate for fish bone meal. Then azomite takes forever to break down so find something to sub for that. I don't add humic since I use compost along with ewc and happy frog 0-5-0 guano. Those have plenty of bennies and humic in them.

All a tumbler will do is mix it thoroughly and quickly. You don't have to mix by shovel, hand, or foot. It will still take time for everything to break down. Imo compost speeds up cooking soil. Subcool does not have compost in his recipe. Humic acid.

Cant wait to see your NL grow. Im loving my hybrid. I think it might be my new fav. It stinks og smell tough. Its abouf half way done.
