9.00 minimum wage is not enough...

So is fucking which is more dangerous and costly than smoking. What about professional athletes? Military volunteers? Drug users? Wanting a social program with bias is a good fucking start yes?
When it comes to healthcare insurance, bias has always been present. The older you are, the more you pay. Self employed? Diabetic? You'll pay double. Construction worker? Triple. Older self employed construction worker with diabetes? God have mercy on your soul. Is it fair to charge more for those at higher risk? Is it fair to force those who don't have those high risks to subsidize those who do? I'm not sure. But life long healthcare costs for smokers is about half that of non-smokers. Smokers subsidize the healthcare of non-smokers thru tobacco taxes that non-smokers don't pay. So higher insurance premiums are currently used to punish unwanted behavior. You think that will stop at just smoking? You think the elderly who no longer work and thus don't pay taxes but receive SS will get the same level of care that working, taxpaying citizens will? You think Congress and other high level government employees will get the same level of care as the rest of us? I don't trust the government, do you?

Don't know where you are headed. A big enough pool should take care of everything - and that was the original point.
A larger pool increases expenses at the same rate it increases income. A bigger pool solves nothing.

We all know that in the long run Federal minimum wage laws don't help the working poor, but in the short run it does and we currently are forced to deal in the very short term.
Ain't that how we got into this mess to begin with?

I can hardly wait for $90 a month healthcare, I am gonna go every month and have them try to fix every little nagging problem I have. Might as well get my moneys worth. In fact, I bet there are millions of people just like me who will cause this system to very quickly become a system of rationing. A few years from now, sure it'll be $100 healthcare, but your chances of actually receiving help will be small.
You do know there will still be copays and deductibles? Of course many will just not pay them. I suspect the rates being quoted will not last for long. Rationing will be required if not. I suspect we will have higher rates AND rationing. Every other tax has gone up, why should we expect this one not to?

Bet you don't NoDrama. Bet you are as reluctant to see the doctor as the vast majority of other people are, in fact I'll be that you don't even go when you think that maybe it would be a real good idea, like when you found that lump on your left testicle and rather than go and find out everything was ok you fretted over it for a month till it went away on its own.
You seem to have an unusually familiarity with NoDrama's genitalia.

food and fuel are not counted in inflation, numbnuts. and fuel goes up because it is a finite good with inelastic demand, you simpleton.
Food and fuel are exempted from the government figures, but you still have to pay for it and it's still a factor. Fuel is technically finite, but we currently have hundreds of years of supply, and new sources are being found every day. Demand is anything but inelastic. And you called him a simpleton?

Ya know what buck? You just aint worth it... Watching paint dry is more entertaining than your predictable trolling... Have fun with your shitty personal life and your need to prove how big your peen is on an internet message board. Seriously, I probably couldnt think up a better hell for you.
A crackhead broke in and stole my TV once. I came home and caught him in the act. He was such a miserable fuck, I figured going to jail would be an improvement on his current situation. Sometimes letting them go is the better punishment.

apparently they never taught verb agreement in your southern schools. a little more about why food and gas are not included in the inflation numbers. http://useconomy.about.com/od/economicindicators/p/CPI.htm [h=3]Core Consumer Price Index:[/h]Two measures of inflation are often reported:*core CPI, which does not include food and energy cost, and non-core CPI, which includes everything. Core CPI is important because this is what theFederal Reserve*looks at to decide whether or not to raise the*Fed funds rate.*The Fed uses the core CPI because food,*oil and gas prices*are so volatile and the Fed's tools are so slow-acting.*
So the prices you pay only count if the Fed says they do?

i could go to the fed's website if they have one and get you the same info. food and gas are not counted in the inflation number, douchebag. don't let those corn flakes get too soggy, ya little bitch!
The Fed's number, but not the real world, cause we all get food and fuel for free.

one measure of CPI does, the other does not. the other CPI that does not count food and gas in inflation is what the fed uses, to boot. and it does not surprise me that you go straight for the crayolas, it's probably part of how you lure in your victims, ya sick fuck! i know you're all dark triad and shit and lower your standards and all, but leave the kids alone.
So your claiming the price of food and fuel (more the result of government policies than the weather, so the Fed doesn't want to count them) doesn't actually cost you anything at all because nontheist is a pedophile. Typical Buckyism.

both information sets are useful, but you're not accounting for just inflation if you count food. lots of food prices went way, way up because of the drought last year, but they'll be back down again soon enough. if you count food, you're adding a weather map to your inflation chart. volatile goods are not a good measure of inflation. deal with it.
Food prices increases were due more to converting food into fuel than all other factors combined. Cherry picking categories of expenses to exclude items government caused to increase is a typical dishonest government misinformation.

i'd be wrong if i made any claim to the contrary, but i haven't. i'm just talking about the inflation that the feds use, core inflation. i had no idea what type of CPI they use to do COLA increases for SS or anything.
No, you're trying pretend that inflation doesn't exist by cherry picking what measurement you use. You never said shit about "core" inflation until much later in the conversation.

i should have said "fed", as in the federal reserve. "feds" is known connotatively as something much different.
Perhaps if you could use capitalization properly, you might be able make yourself understood. Oh, but you're such a rebel, can't do that, can we? (correction: your)
