I haven't always had the best results with Cali Connection but I have found a few keepers. I first got a pack of feminized Chem Valley Kush, 4 sprouted, 1 was male, one stretched out of control and was killed and the other two were cloned and grown out a second time. Overall I wasn't too impressed but have kept the one OG leaning cut, at least for the time being. The CVK came with a a pack of feminized mixed seeds and I found two really nice females that I cloned and plan to grow again.
The second time I purchased Cali Connection was when I was caught up in the LA Affie hype and ordered a feminized 6 pack. The seed pack arrived and had 8 seeds packaged, 4 seeds looked healthy and 4 seeds looked light green and undersized. I popped the beans that night and only have four young plants in veg right now. The four pre-mature seeds never popped. La Affie is slow as shit to veg so I haven't had a chance to throw them into 12/12.
I did a lot of reading on Cali Connection through these blogs and have come to the conclusion that Swerve has the worst PR skills but a lot of skilled growers find fire in his genetics. Enough people said to stay away from the feminized seeds and try the tahoe regs or Larry regs. I decided to give Cali Connection a third try, but am taking the advice of others and got the Larry OG regular seeds.
I have spent a good part of this last year searching for a killer OG mother plant and haven't found it yet. Hopefully I find what I'm looking for in the Larry OG. If they are good then I will buy more gear from Swerve and his pasty toddler body
If my experience with the Larry Og is similar to my CVK experience then I am done with Cali Connect.
On a side note, did you see the lame ass ballerina shoes Swerve was wearing @ the cup, Lol
