I remember the W8 with those aero-spec color-anodized fittings under the hood.
I liked it ... looked like a Lamborghini Countach for folks who couldn't pronounce it. Texans with oil money.

Of course, the Countach was a cadmium-plated bitch to drive, and the Vector does not look like visibility out of it is much better. cn
HAHA yea Countach rear window was smaller than its glove

I remember a Panoz Roadster wrapped onto a gutted Mustang Cobra skeleton. I also vaguely remember they made a supercar. i think. cn

Yea the super car was like 1000HP with 4 pipe through the back in a circle... looked like a jet engine

HAHA just googled I'm thinking of the Zonda
The Zonda exhaust looked gnarly. Lambo's new exhaust treatment ain't bad either. Innovative. But for sheer exhaust brilliance, the three pipes of the LF-A do it for me. And, that, sound. cn

I'm gonna jump on this, nobody can deny the pure sexiness of a supercar but when you get into something with over a 1,000 hp and I touch the peddle I would rather have the front end twist around like I'm gonna snap something and that jerky camming bout to stall engine fly than a whiny bees nest in my ear that handles amazing. I want the pure power and nonsense...
I'll take a few more muscle cars I drop 10-15k (no warranty)

My mustangs got 720hp can't do anything with it but take it down the 1/4 how do you even drive one of these cars on the street?

Lots of practice with throttle control, and early shifting if just driving around in town. My car lives at 1200 to 1500 rpm when just driving around town.

Haha I guess I'm just not a good driver. Besides my drag set up, the skinnies up front cause major understeer. Its guaranteed to spin the tires when shifting, and fishtailing in traffic aint cool..so besides my lack of finese behind the wheel there's that when I leave from stop I accidently do a slight wheelie:) but to cops I'm showing a "display of power" or some shit

So bad driving, and various other reasons its illigal. In my area there is some kinda decibal level thing and my car is to loud.

I had to deal with noise in California. Also considered having different rubber for when on street or track.NT05 worked for my mustang, and invos worked on my Viper to keep them streetable.

I recently traded one of my cars, Golf, for a Lexus ES350. Im very happy with my decision, Toyota really knows how to make cars, unlike its German counterparts...will never buy a fucking Audi or VW again in my life, ever.

lol sounds like you just had some bad luck because audi and VW are well known for having some of the best quality cars you can own and i can pledge to that since ive owned both. your just bad at buying cars man, you got the worst VW out there other then the cabriolet. and a es350?? it a over glorified camery. could of at least got something rear wheel drive :p

i love toyota and lexus though. deff some of the best auto makers these days.

I drove a 700 horse cuda some 15 years ago. I nearly pissed myself, my palms were sweaty as fuck, and I smoked a cigarette after. That thing was balls. What's crazy is I now have a 450 horse Mercedes and I barely feel anything. Then again, there is a HUGE difference between 700 and 450 horse..

VW is known for electrical and transmission problems. A good 8 to 10 years of below average ratings on many of the lines of VW.

Mercedes and Lexus have a few years here and there with shotty work, but are easily fixed. ( Costly, but easy ) Whereas with VW, you can find yourself chasing repairs.

It sounds to me you got lucky with your buys.

I wont do Audi because they make it impossible to put nice aftermarket wheels and tires without doing a ton of work on the suspension. Also, if you don't keep an eye on the auto transmission on an Audi, you can find yourself spending serious cash chasing down problems.

I've owned, Land Rover, Audi, VW, Chevy, Ford, Mercedes and Lexus. By far the most reliable for me has been the Mercedes and Ford. Chevy was a close second, and the jury is still out on the Lexus, as this is my first one. Audi came in a distant fourth, followed by Land Rover, then the pile of donkey shit VW calls a vehicle.

Oh shit. Almost forgot, I owned a Mitsubishi 3000GT. Had that pile of shit for about a year. That thing wasn't even fast. What a pile of crap that car was.
