Hey Ninja had a quick question for ya...my wife is trying a new diet and we were wondering what if any types of steak constitute "lean meant." I figured with your culinary background you might be able to shed some light on our debate. :lol:

Round steak is really lean, when im trying to loose weight thats what i eat, and boneless skinless chicken breast. Fish is always a good choice because you can bake or steam it usually with no oil and it turns out great. Also she should know that there are..well here..Fat: 1 gram = 9 calories Protein: 1 gram = 4 calories
Carbohydrates: 1 gram = 4 calories
Alcohol: 1 gram = 7 calories
The fat one is the one i was going for. Alot of people forget that even a small splash of oil or butter (yes olive oil too) can be around 150 calories, thats only one tablespoon of oil. In one dish, and a table spoon of oil doesnt look that big. Cooking with teflon pans helps and also if you can use it, cooking with a splash of water on veggies helps. Hidden fats are the worst impo. Two tablespoons of oil a day and your just under a quarter of your two thousand calorie diet.
Oh one more thing, if she has an i pad theres a calorie counter app, well theres a couple, but theyre really fun to do. They have lists of foods available at most supermarkets and nutritional information and all you have to do is enter the bar code on the box or package. Soo cool, then it gives you options for how much you ate. A couple minutes of excersize every day helps too. If you can get into a routine of taking a walk when you wake up or before you go to sleep it will help. You could trick her into doing it by promiseing her a back massage when you get home if she not into it at first :):):)

Grilled chicken breast with jamaican jerk seasoning i brought back from Kingston. Fruit salsa with melon and green onions and of course, my favorite beer ever Kokanee :):):) *edit-all cooked on the weber grill, you gotta burn jerk a bit ;)

Oh ya, i had some pork belly at a restaurant a while back with carmelized pear, wheat berries in honey, and edible flowers that tasted like licorice. I wanted to lick the plate.

I had it for dinner with cabbage and potatoes and cold for supper with fresh crusty bread.My belly is full from belly today.

I never envisioned it as a sex toy though,it could work!
