it's more like: without the centuries of unequal access to opportunity, blacks would not be in a position of higher poverty etc.

if the races were reversed and whites were dealt the same hand as blacks in this country, guess who i would be advocating on behalf of.

exactly how were blacks just gonna "take" their voting rights in the jim crow south?

exactly how was a slave going to "take" access to the same college education that his owner's son would get?

exactly how was a black family going to "take" a business loan that they were denied, even though the white family in the exact same situation got the loan?

States don't have rights. People do. The business model of any government is to to limit rights and use force to make people do things that benefit the growth of that particular government. All the rest is window dressing.

Many of the slaves were taken from various places. And I didn't start here and and Africa is a continent. America is a self actualized nation. The UN didn't sanction us. We barely sanction the UN.
