I tend to blame the politician side of cronyism because these are the people who asked to represent us, not the greedy companies. I also realize it's the system though. We have allowed a system to evolve that does not have the capacity to police itself anymore and by not treating our cancer we've allowed it to metastasize.

To me it's true but I don't say it like it's a bad thing. Only two forms of govt and really it's just one thing. And it can slosh. So it's in bucket.
Govt is a bunch of Buckets, some are bribes some are blood. Less blood more bribes, or the opposite is how it works in history, seems to me.
So, money is very, very slightly cleaner than blood, and so much less un-sightly.
