I just skimmed through the history of Korea. Wild. Not what you think. And you can see what the beef is. Rescued on two ends at the end of WW2 is only a very recent thing. The Soviets intruded, China helpless fighting among themselves, We block on the South and WW2 is over! Stick a fork in it.

No. It's not over. The Gestapo runs Egypt and the Soviets left these dynastic, Mayan looking Mongoloids in charge.

Maybe all this is finally settled with China and the world can finally stop this barren craziness.
(OK, we promise to pay your money back...really, trust us)

But, the history of this peninsula is something. For one one thing. In Europe man's presence can track back 40K years, in the Americas, only 20K or maybe 30K (some new findings, I think)

Here its.....700K years, dating from the lower Paleolithic. Hard to fathom.

With that suspension of the arms trade treaty, it seems Iran may be backing N. Korea. I know we're already watching them carefully but now what do you think are the chances of them sharing their tech after that?
I hope no one thought we were kidding or the Bush Doctrine would not be come the Will of Presidents to follow. It was voted into Law by Congress and it is very much still in effect. No kidding.

"States like these and their terrorist allies constitute an axis of evil, arming to threaten the peace of the world."

After 9/11 there was a set of laws that combined assets into Homeland Security, and began a very large effort to change the way we conducted ourselves. The Patriot Act has many provisions is what I'm saying and we don't know the half of it. Not briefed in. Not cleared. They call it Need to Know. I say, Don't Want to Know. The secret provision of the Patriot Act is what let's Sky King operate those drones, for example. And they don't have to tell us and they don't.

All of this is a legal standing, a sort force majeur, we warned you!! type of thing. It is called a Doctrine. Monroe has one name for him, still in effect. And this, like it or not is called the Bush Doctrine. No Joke.

Now, the South East Asia Treaty Organization also includes Australia, and SEATO is the same as NATO. One for all.

So, the Bush Doctrine as all Presidental Doctrines, are a bit more than Law. It is a Self Ordained and the Congressionally ratiifed Legal stance of our Nation. We can already see Obama Doctrine building in on that.
----------
Though many U.S. Presidents had themes related to their handling of foreign policy, the term doctrine generally applies to Presidents such as James Monroe, Harry S. Truman, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, all of whom had doctrines which more completely characterized their foreign policy.

Legal weed and authentic Asian food makes it a tempting tourist spot...minus all the dictator shit, obviously.

Update: As of less than 15 minutes ago (including media delay), Kim Jong-Un has rockets on standby to 'mercilessly strike' the US... and the media released info on a rocket capable of reaching out and touching the US. The 'Unha-3 has a range of 10000km. Video and more info: http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/29/world/asia/north-korea-us-threats/
My friends about 5 minutes away on his way here. Early this week we said we would meet to make plans and set up packs of supplies for if anything happens.

Not good news that they do have the unha 3

Not good at all, just hope they're not stupid enough to try anything with it. A backup plan is always good too :D

They have legal weed. I guess that would qualify as a terrorist state huh? All Obama has to do is call "him". The whole fucking thing would be over and we'd have a new vacation spot.

I think what qualifies them as a "terrorist" state is that they have concentration camps where they keep multiple generations of families, if you try to leave the country you are executed, if you look at someone the wrong way you are executed. If you say the wrong thing you are executed, listen to the wrong music you are imprisoned and so are your children and their children. The fact they live in a constant state of martial law and to justify it the government makes the people think they are under constant threat and in a state of war (the reason for the 'empty' threats). The fact that they are all starving and every town has soldiers assigned to burn the bodies, many people have resorted to cannibalism and if your not a cannibal a good meal is catching one of the giant rats that have been feasting on corpses. Ya know, things like this that make them a "terrorist state".....3 generations of imprisoments in labor camps and piles of bodies and executions, reminds me of something...

I am easily one of the most anti-war people on here , I am against just about every war, I am against government period, bar SOME revolutionary wars and WWII...this is getting to be WWIII status imo and I would fully support freeing the slaves of North Korea more so then even Darfur during the genocide.

on second thought this n korea thing is kind good, since their "threats" the mideast has been kind quite.
My friend, our enemies want us to think like this and the Press, if you did not know, is part of the Enemy. Shucksters and emotion manipulators. And this is a "free Press."

And your attention is split. That is, since Iran is providing the weapon grade material to N.Korea. What do you think they are doing with their centrifuges? How do you think N.Korea gets material. How do you think Iran can say, "we aren't building a bomb?" Iran need us, but they have watch us play the client state game and it works.

Why will you believe this common wisdom, the Press just makes up for advertising dollars and to keep us working without panic? IMO, 1984 has been in place for 20 years at least. It is much more subtle that event the author could imagine. A lot in these about what is torture vs torment. Fine line indeed.

A way to put you out of love, for good. Today, it's very subtle so I turn it off. Many get the news from Leno, I get mine from RIU. :)

The axis of Evil still has members. A few less since Obama got on the drone stick. We are still in WW2. It never stopped, it just went Cold, and got to 1 min before midnight, then it went to a simmer and regional and America forgot.

But, most remember, it's still on. The Gestapo has Egypt, will soon have Syria, already have Libya, Mali, and army blocked in Algeria, Tunisia.....endless war. It never gets solved. It is just that, what we are trying to solve is debatable so humans fight. We are bringing the World War to a head again if we don't stop this Axis, very soon.

How many will cry in this world vs how many will cheer when we get nuked?

Hmmmm...well, if this is true, it means that they mean what they say. They don't want the west to taint what they have. I can see that. And if we were not poking them constantly to un-conditional surrender from the end of WW2, they would not need nukes.

And we only see the US propaganda. Remember, N.Viet Nam was not fucked up until the French got there, and then we tried to make a Stone Age and failed. So, I can't take sides. And I don't see right and wrong any more. We just don't know.

I will say the Dems have a lot of people fooled. They are the most subtle, dangerous, and two faced warriors on the planet. Just read the history.

James Madison - War of 1812 (very democrat, before the term. Wanted to let slaves vote)
Jefferson Davis - 1861 Democrat, Succeed from a Republican President, fought and lost
Woodrow Wilson - Democrat WW1
F. D. Roosevelt - Democrat WW2
Harry S. Truman - Democrat Korean War
John F. Kennedy - Democrat Viet Nam

Oh, sure the Republicans can mix it up, also, but not so two faced, so much more amateur, imo.

DPRK just isnt a really good boogey man. China will slap them if they do anything to dumb.
Iran/Syria are much scarier because they actually wouldnt mind world destruction.
Un wants to hang with rodman, hes not going to get himself blownup. Just bluster for the oldschool generals he has to impress.

Fact remains, as of 13 hours ago.. all 3 of the countries you named pretty much blocked a UN arms trade treaty.. all it'd take is 1 of the 3 to get stupid enough to use the launch codes, and it's a shitstorm and a half. Have you looked at the facilities that Iran and Syria have? Iran has VX. Ever see what happens to people who get affected in confined spaces by it? They end up snapping their own neck and spine with convulsions/spasms while their skin melts off of them like plastic over a major heat source... that'd be worst case VX.. Delivered via air, it could do hellacious damage just the same, as it's odorless and tasteless, and it's not at all volatile. It evaporates at the speed motor oil does.

Then we have N.Korea directly helping Syria with a covert nuclear reactor.. transcript of the background briefing with Senior US officials is here: http://www.fas.org/irp/news/2008/04/odni042408.pdf To be fair, there are probably pieces of the briefing that were left out of that transcript due to them not being declassified at the time of publish. (Early 08')

Do you have any references for the skin-melting phenomenon? I've never heard that associated with cholinergics, even in massive overdose. cn

umm yea thats what I said. DPNK = trolls that are not scarey. Iran/Syria = Will actually press the button as soon as they get it.
sure them helping syria/iran is bad and is scarey because those camel jockeys (oh god thats racist) are to dumb to come up with nukes without a little asian influence.
But DPRK by itself isnt going to hit the button. no way.
