2nd LED Party Cup Competition Official Update Thread

Well, due to moving in the next few months and having the make the place ready to sell the final two were cut this morning.
Going back through the thread to compile photos for the final update I spent most of my time reading through the comments.
This has been my favourite grow so far, I'd say I'll get about 35 grams total from all three of my plants. Which is, hilariously enough about 1.3 grams per watt.
The banter that was had between everyone was hilarious, Franny I enjoyed it with you most of all. Some of what you posted was genius, others not so much haha.
Dawg, like I said earlier. It's been a pleasure growing against you. Shows what you can do with a simple but keyed-in setup with some mild supervision.
To those who lost their plants, good luck next round. To those who I beat, high five. To those who beat me, low blow.
On to the specs;
Lights;
Three 9 watt glow panel 45's. Low quality panels that have always surprised me. Roughly 28 watts total.
Medium;
Pro-mix HP
Noooots;
Generic 20-20-20 ferts, PK-13-14 and some bio-tec ferts.
Now for the family vacation where I grew the kids under unnatural light and fed them chemicals to grow big and fat until I killed them. Chopped them to pieces, and dried them until I was able to smoke them.
First cut is my second bagseed, the last cut was my Buddha's sister.
Summary, first bag seed grew out to be 36 wet and 10.2 dry.
Second was 38.9 wet and dry weight to come
Third was 54.2 though I barely trimmed it at the moment so I 50 is what I'll sit at.
It's been fun, they're drying on the screen now. The buds to keep from the buddha on the right and the rest to be made into oil.
Thanks to Puff, for it all. Much respect for organizing this as I find it hard to find matching socks in the morning.

I am so bummed, I have not been around for a bit, work has taken over my whole life and has rendered me obsolete for this competition. All the rest of you guys seem to be doing well, so Cheers to whomever may take the gold. I may try again next time someone runs this competition again if I don't have so much going on in life, my little baby was looking so pretty until I ripped her out of bed and kicked her out of my house, now she is just a street hooker all smoked up.

it was bad from begining to end
somtimes people say the 3g of bud, was the bes thing ever
but no, in this case it smoked bad and the high was crap
i will happlily accept last place

I've just partaken in some mostly cured bud from my second bag seed.
Bagseed #2
Dense and springy buds, colourful with a few thick pistils still remaining on the tips.
Tangy and tastes a bit like bark, kind of a thin smoke though. Very cerebral in that my thoughts are going a mile a minute. With a minute body buzz that seems to be creeping into the tips of my fingers as I type.
soft smell, not a stinker but still a noticeable scent.
Aaaand the Buddha's Sister.
Very airy buds but holy shit does this smell. Every time I burp it it feels like getting punched in the face by sour cherries.
Moderate high, my eyes feel like raisins and huge munchies but not very long lived. Maybe 35 minutes of the eye feeling and then nothing.
Smoke report. Ba bam.

Ok, I was originally going to be in this competition; but had to move and it shook my plans.
I haven't followed as much as I would have liked. Who won? Or is it still going on? I noticed
someone doing a Hydro setup that looked awesome. How about for the next comp you take
the best soil growers vs. the best hydro growers? Have it out in a battle royal!

thanks! that plant next too it is a ringer...just moved it from the hps so i could downsize for a bit. i think this solo entrys gonna be decent weight, i gotta get at least 3.3 to beat out fran!
