AzaMax ok to use on flowering plants?

I have a big bug problem. Is it okay to use AzaMax on my plants that are in flower? I have some that are 3-4 weeks in, some 6-7 weeks, and 1 thats 1 week in. Is it ok to use Azamax as a foliar spray and/or soil application?

I'm only three years into the indoor growing but I've used AzaMax at 6 and 7 weeks before and it did no harm. I faithfully spray once a week for the first three weeks and haven't had a spidermite problem in 2 years. As added protection I recommend Hot Shot No Pest Strips. You can get them at Lowes and they are about $7 apiece. I keep half dozen in the flowering room at all times and the veg room as well. I lost everything the first year due to spidermites and it won't happen again. Hope this helped.

Well, the bugs aren't just going to go away. I don't use AzaMax or any foliars for that matter, I like to keep my leaves and bud and clean as possible. So i'm sorry I don't have any knowledge if that will fix your bug problem. What kind of bugs? I've only dealt with spider mites for a few weeks and the only thing i ever have to worry about now is mold/mildew shit due to my humid unfinished basement. Spider mites were not fun, have to spray in a few sessions cause don't always kill the eggs that hatch a week later, and quarantine plants. After that harvest I sprayed my whole flower room then wiped with 10/90% bleach/water to clean the walls again. Like i said never seen them since, if you bring any plants home from a greenhouse check them for mites and also check plants surrounding your house for infestations.

Sorry...but my answer is it's probably ok to do some light sprays, do it at night or raise your lights and turn off fans so the spray goes where you want it. Be cautious not to spray any nug directly. then after spraying is complete i'd turn fans back on, wait until moisture is not visible before lowering lights if you did it with lights on.

Fungus nats I think. They're flying around like crazy. I took all the plants out and vacuumed most of them up and then put Diatamacious Earth over my soil and I've been vacuuming the fuckers up whenever I get the chance. Also just got some sticky traps to add to my arsenal against them.

i wouldn't use pass week 5....you dont want the azamax poison to be on your finished buds and you dont want to wet the buds as you may get mold. anytime before week 5 of flower is okay.

In my personal experience drying out the topsoil and sticky strips have had the best results, some growers such as myself see a few fungus nats to just be a part of the process... I usually don't use azamax past week 5 or 6. When i treat with azamax I keep it consistent with once every 7-10days drench and depending on the extent of the problem foliar twice weekly. Gnats in soil....i used an inch of sand on top of the soil in each pot and let pot dry out good in between waterings, they don't like dry places...so sorry i lied, i guess i have dealt with gnats too but i swear those have been my only bug problems lol. I read about this sand tek online somewhere and was unsure but it worked. after about a month of plants cycling through. might not work for you depending on your potting situation.

I personally saw don't foliar at all if you don't need to, or just be cautious of letting residue build up too much, i believe you can buy a leaf wash that can be used some point during flower.
Only reason i mention this is because i've had a few bad experience trying to tell my buddy to lay off the neem oil...i feel like i can even smell it on his bud after harvest. just my 2cents on foliar

my blue dream is 8-9 week and ive used it at week 9 a couple times with no problems to my health. and if ur using worm castings they could be coming out of that. in early spring my worm farm hatches these little flying bugs that look like fungus nats, those are harmless and if ur using something with worm castings im sure u have some in ur room.

1. Definitely make positive ID on your pest. Don't assume it's one thing and find out it is another way too late in the game. (I did this :()
2. Once positive ID has been confirmed (be absolutely sure.) Use safe methods to resolve the pest.

I mix Diatomaceous Earth with a few drops of dish detergent along with azamax in a sprayer. The azamax kills them, the DE kills the larvae when they're crawling across the leaves( leaves a nice white powder wherever it is sprayed after drying.)
