Glad everyones gettin where Im coming from....goal was to spend 1 months weed money to never have to pay again....it worked. Thanks for not telling me how much better a 600 W HPS would do. Im quite aware of what could be done with more light, space, money....CFL Micro SOG and never pay for weed again.I'll try and get some pics of my next one week harvest if I can remember. Thanks everyone for your appreciation of a different idea to get to the same place.

How u get it in the can? The plants look like there coming thru the hole. Am I missing something? Kick ass BTW. I just smoked one, feeling lost lbs lmao

once they sprout roots....I cut top off can and drill drain holes...fill with dirt and transplant clone into can

Very nice man, I really like the set up. Ha, I used to drink keystones. We were the "Keystone bros " (high school) . Do you feed much ? Maybe you could squeeze more in with more of a stadium style lay out. Probably not though. Mojo to your growshow. :eyesmoke: thanks for sharing. :mrgreen:

This is pretty awesome man. This is some great work on a budget! I seriously appreciate a real SOG, with everyone focused on keeping it legal with a lot of medical grows, SOG single stalk grows are disappearing. How are you liking it now with the HPS? You were getting pretty good yields with all CFL's so I'm interested in the difference it made, if any.

Nutes. Well, keeping with the theme of a "cheap" grow, I obviously dont use Advanced Nutes. Im a Fox Farms kinda guy. My soil is Fox Farms Ocean forrest, with added extra 1/3 perlite for drainage. Not the cheapest but probably will never change. I only use the FOX Farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom liquid nutes, since I dont veg, I don't need to but the Grow Big. Fox Farms also makes 3 suppliments for flowering stage, these are very expensive to buy by the can. I get about a tablespoon of each off ebay , all 3 for about $10. This usually lasts the whole winters indoor grow. I nute about once a week( nute or water every 3 days). Water only for plants in last 2 weeks of flower. This might not be necessary, but I havnt had any problems with the way it burns and plan to keep it that way. Thanks to all who "liked" or "+rep". I got alot of grief over this grow, but I believe I made my point that you could grow your own (and a few friends) awesome weed forever for less than the price of a half oz. I'll let you know the next couple harvest weights as they come in.

only had the HPS a few weeks now.....so dont really know yet. The weights will tell me if I like it, but so far Im liking it. Heat is a bigger issue, put a new fan in....seemed to help a little

As for plant count...Im a MM patient in washington...and I grow for a fellow patient.....in washington its 15 per patient...so my max is 30......I do 4 plants a week on average....take a week off from putting new ones in if count gets close or you get a 10 week strain......this keeps count legal......so yes.....single cola plants are a numbers game..but it can be done in washington legally....good comment though.

was asked about CFL light set up.....I used splitters.....splitter makes one socket into two......use 3 of them to hang 4 lights off one socket....costs about a buck a piece here....cheaper in any big block store...good luck
