12/12 from seed.

I am growing 2 plants with 12/12 lighting since they sprouted.

I am in just day 3 of 12/12 now and they are growing really fast, if they keep this up in 45 days or so from seed to the end of flowering I should have more then I thought at first.

After all it was just a experiment, but look.

seedling need 24 hours of light. Dont get me wrong, they look good, Im not talking shit or anything. But one concern might be that they will start to strech/flower. I would keep the light on 24 and when they get about a foot tall then I would switch it to 12/12. you want to make sure that they have had enough veg time before you start to flower them

That is 100% his opinion.

Don't get me wrong, with more veg time the plants will be bigger and therefor produce more buds in the end.

But this style of growing is proven to work and there are documented cases of some strains of MJ producing up to a gram per watt of light being used.

Google the "sea of green" technique.

I know what it is!! I am just trying to make a point that plants do not "need" 24 hours of light as he stated. He is giving a noob biased info based on his opinion alone, he needs to also inform the noob of the other options as well. Which in this case and his statement that seedlings need 24 hours light is totally false. They do not get 24 hours of light outdoors. I am not debating if 24 hours does or does not make a difference, but lets try to give accurate information.

Oh I love other peoples opinions.

I was just documenting and giving my experience on this particular style.

I definately don't need anyone to tell me that "it's cool"

This is my first time trying it, i'm not positive how it will turn out, just making a topic here for others out there with questions like:

Is that even possible,
or doubters who say, that can't work.

that's all no problems, no tension, I wast wanna relax and be high and share my experiences.

Thats fine, opinions are certainly welcome and appreciated. However, I use 18/6 for my schedule. Is this the best way, who knows but it works for me. The object is to provide the poster with the information and additional possibilities and let them filter through it and to make the decision that works best for them. It is not prudent to give the poster an answer that would lead someone to believe that your way is the only way.

BTW, I apologize for getting your gender wrong.

Lets get back on topic and give this user some answers that will be of use.

12/12 from seed does work for a lot of strains i personally love this method.also those first pics show that its been 3 days from when they popped up from the ground? are you sure thats from 3 days or a week? just curious,looking good so far
